Russia’s ex president and leader of the ruling party Dmitry Medvedev promised that more Ukrainian territories will be annexed by Russia.
While Dmitry Medvedev has been a major hawk before, this may also indicate a change in Russian policy with regards to Ukraine.
The previous justifications for the war have been of a different character and semi-defensive character. NATO’s expansion, “de-nazification”, protecting Russian minority interests and attempts to reverse the Euromaidan revolution without actually naming annexing new territory as an objective. Putin apologists in the West liked to cite them as a source that this war was provoked by NATO and the United States.
If we take it as a position of the Russian side (there is very little reason on why we shouldn’t) then the current justification for the war is unapologetically imperialist and expansionist in its nature. Something that I’ve been saying in 2022.

This is a very unhealthy and low engagement ratio for Tucker Carlson. For instance I typically get at least 25 likes for every 1K views on my tweets.
