Trump seems more and more poised to get rid of the filibuster the longer this government shutdown goes on. If you ask me, Trump absolutely should put pressure on the Senate to kill the filibuster. The Democrats have immense party loyalty, way more than the GOP. We shouldn't bother waiting around for them to magically grow a conscience and compromise.

If you can abolish this stupid rule, Trump can pass all the controversial legislation we need to not only stand a chance in the midterms, but actually pass our conservative agenda.

The Nick Fuentes - Tucker Carlson interview was truly one of best pieces of content produced by the populist right in the past year, maybe past 5 years.

What I particularly liked about this interview is that the rivalry was, ostensibly at least, settled. Most of the interview was spent discussing who these men are as people. Of course, I am not a particular fan of these type of discussions, but it worked for this interview. Unlike the Candace interview, where she kvetched about every mean thing Nick said, Tucker was able to discuss the beef politely and cordially. This is important because now that this beef is seemingly settled, these two can truly unite and focus on the ideas.

As for the ideas discussed, I'm happy that they're weren't just discussing Israel again and again. Of course, the topic is important and absolutely must be discussed, but it would've been a circle jerk had they discussed a topic on which they agree 90% on. Therefore I'm pleased when Nick started talking about pornography, drug abuse, and gender wars. Nick and Tucker are very influential people, especially to young conservative men. Seeing them discuss issues that affect this demographic directly sets an important dialectic, especially to push back against cringemaxxed wifeguy tradcons and anybody who is terrified of offending women and degenerates.

All signs suggest Trump is gearing up to invade Venezuela and install a puppet government.

Now, I don’t see how American interests intersect here, given that Venezuela produces very little oil and the US has plenty of its own, nor is the Venezuelan government involved in the narcotics trade.

I suspect the real reason Trump wants to attack Venezuela is that he’s secretly jealous of Netanyahu and Putin for daring to wage wars of their own despite international opposition, and he doesn’t want to be left out. Renaming the Department of Defense to the Department of War is part of this ridiculous LARP. Trump just wants to flex his muscles and prove he can do whatever he wants. He liked how he bombed Iran and so he wants to repeat that again. It’s about psychological gratification, not strategy.

The fallout from this will be further destabilization of the international order and the normalization of wars of aggression. And, of course, Trump’s approval rating will also drop as he’s supposed to be the “president of peace,” or whatever.
