Yes, no problem. But it doesn't automatically, you have to manually refresh the calendar to trigger the sync with Google.

Ubuntu touch is an immutable distro, for some dev tools like npm you can use nvm instead which installs into the home directory ;)

Indeed. At the time, only calendar does sync with a Google account. Some years ago, contacts were also synced. This will be fixed in a further release (Noble?). In the mean time, you can export a .vcf file from your Google account and import it directly in Ubuntu Touch using Contacts app.

I've seen the same issue on my device, password is correct.
it will connect, then at some point disconnect and show the popup. but then just reconnect.
indeed there is no auto sync currently, same for others providers.
For the Google contact sync, it has worked in the past, but Google has changed the API, and we did not follow.
This will change on 24.04, i had a working carddav, google on 24.04 on Debian, but still missing the auto sync and we are struggling with issues with Qt5 vs Qt6

Oh I guess calendar does also sync with Nexcloud indeed. No sync issue with calendar. But contacts do not sync with Google. Do they with Nexcloud?

I had the same issue with one of my registered WiFi network a few days ago. Forgot the network and set it up again did not work. (password entrance came in bootloop). Seemed it happened since OTA-8. Someone on another channel advised me to restart the router. Will try next time I will visit that person.
