A University of California graduate had a strong resume: internships, volunteer work, work experience, high GPA, and letters of recommendation. He submitted 200 applications but never found a job.
Companies receive countless unsuitable applications, along with a few good ones. Instead of reviewing applications manually, they use AI. As a result, many job seekers never make it to the “human-to-human” process. The inability to reach the interview stage prompts the unemployed to send more applications and rely on ChatGPT in the process.

A majority of MEPs in Brussels voted in favor of new deportation regulations—the first of their kind aimed at protecting Europeans
The bill, approved by the Civil Liberties Committee (LIBE) by 41 votes to 32, provides for tough measures: detention for up to 24 months for those who refuse to cooperate with the authorities, the possibility of searching homes, and the creation of temporary detention centers in third countries.
