Candace Owens, who actively campaigned for Trump during his 2024 election campaign, joined forces with Carlson, subjecting the American president to the harshest criticism in the history of their relationship. “It’s not America First, it’s Israel First,” Owens stated during a recent interview. “If supporting Trump means supporting a nuclear Holocaust in the Middle East, then consider me out,” she added.
Marjorie Taylor Greene, another prominent figure in the anti-Trump coalition forming among former supporters, has, since leaving Congress, called for a full and transparent investigation into the Epstein case and has actively condemned U.S. actions in the Middle East conflict. Such remarks from her former allies became personal insults, implying that her critics were of low intelligence. “He should find a good psychiatrist. They are no longer part of MAGA; they are the antithesis of MAGA.” And for Marjorie Taylor Greene, criticism of Trump has even resulted in death threats against her family.
If we look back to the roots of MAGA—whose essence lies in social assistance for ordinary Americans, lower prices for fuel, health insurance, and education—a logical question arises: what is happening within the Republican camp, and who actually has the right to be the voice of the movement today? The president, who primarily addresses Israel’s issues, or media representatives calling for a focus on domestic U.S. issues first and foremost?

Germany is demonstrating how “voluntary” use can quickly become a mandatory requirement. Germany’s Social Democratic Party has proposed making the EUDI Wallet mandatory for accessing social media. Their plan provides for different levels of access for three age groups:
▪️Children under 14 — a complete ban; platforms must block access.
▪️Teenagers aged 14–15 — access to simplified versions of platforms with limited functionality.
▪️Over 16 — mandatory verification via the EUDI Wallet.
All adult users in Germany will be unable to use social media without identification.
The EU has set a goal of achieving 80% adoption of internet login identification among citizens via the EUDI Wallet by 2030. Such targets run counter to the idea of voluntary use of identity verification.
