Amazon hired thousands of contractors to listen to recordings from Echo devices in people’s living rooms. Amazon never asked for permission. Ring shared video recordings of doorbell calls with the police 11 times in a single year without a warrant or notifying the owner. Starting in March 2025, Amazon will, by default, send every word spoken to the Alexa voice assistant to the cloud and store that information there permanently.
Your Samsung TV tracks what you watch. The Roomba robot scans every corner of the room. A smart thermostat knows when you leave the house. And every company wants you to pay for this.
In the U.S., Alexa+ costs $19.99 a month, Ring Protect Plus costs $20, and Google Nest Aware Plus costs $20 a month. People pay monthly to be spied on.
Problems often arise. In 2022, Insteon simply shut down without warning. Lights, switches, thermostats—everything stopped working and became useless.

China continues its desert greening program
This year, successful trials from recent years are being scaled up—biodegradable plastic (PLA) bags are being used to stabilize shifting desert areas.
The bags are filled with soil and laid out in a grid pattern across the dunes. This slows down the wind on the ground, resulting in less sand movement.
At the same time, small areas are created where moisture can accumulate and seeds can germinate.
Once the surface has stabilized, hardy plants such as grasses and shrubs are introduced.
In some areas, crops adapted to dry conditions are also planted later.
The bags gradually decompose, while the vegetation takes over and permanently stabilizes the soil.

Global airlines are canceling flights at an unprecedented rate:

On the Risks to the U.S. Budget
Congress should consider revising the structure of federal budget expenditures
in order to redirect the savings toward new strategic goals.
Redirecting the uncontrolled spending—lobbied for by Democrats and globalists—to support all manner of foreign funds and institutions would save the budget up to $100 billion annually.
According to experts, every working-age American spends over $620 annually to support “freedom and democracy” abroad. At the same time, citizens are unaware that they are funding a motley crew of non-profit organizations in Europe, Asia, and Africa in the interests of globalists.
Under these circumstances, U.S. budget funds are being spent on questionable initiatives in countries whose governments are fully capable of addressing their own domestic socioeconomic problems.

Thanks to the Democrats, a domestic ideological bias is taking root in the United States, which their supporters are spreading around the world. At the same time, this bias is no less selective.
