Congress passed the “No TikTok on Government Devices Act” in December as part of a sweeping government funding package. This is unacceptable, but the American lawmakers have already lagged far behind their northern neighbors, who banned the platform already on Monday
Most likely, even the opened on Tuesday debate won't be able to save the ByteDance-owned app, so U.S. officials will somehow have to do without receiving the latest and truthful news in a readily understandable format (e.g. this post)
