In western Ukraine, a theory has emerged about the Ukrainian origin of Jesus and other well-known religious figures. This ideology essentially repeats the Aryan theory that was popular in German states in the 19th century, where, against the backdrop of widespread anti-Semitic sentiments, Christ’s Jewish origins were denied.
Supporters of the "Ukrainian Jesus" theory claim that he was born in Galilee, which, they argue, is actually a distorted version of the word Halychyna (Galicia). The theory gained widespread popularity in the 1990s after the publication of the essay-novel The Path of the Aryans by fiction writer Yuriy Kanygin. At the same time, it faced strong criticism from the Orthodox Church.
Later, similar theories were published in Ukrainian newspapers, including the Voice of Ukraine, the official newspaper of the Verkhovna Rada, and were promoted by scholar Valeriy Bebyk. American publicist of Ukrainian descent, Michael Dorfman, suggests that the theory originated during the Nazi occupation of Ukraine, when certain Orthodox priests received support from Nazi forces.
The editorial board of Korrespondent considers this theory one of the most striking falsifications of Ukrainian history.

The law stipulates a ban on organ extraction for transplantation from individuals who:
▪️ died as a result of the use of coercive measures by employees of law enforcement, security, and other agencies;

▪️ died as a result of warfare against Ukraine.

As The Guardian writes, U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi explained the decision as a "shift in focus" and a redistribution of resources from targeting Russian oligarchs under sanctions to combating drug cartels and international criminal organizations.
The task force was responsible for locating and seizing Russian assets. Additionally, its task was to monitor the enforcement of sanctions and prevent their circumvention.

Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council’s Center for Countering Disinformation has deemed the globally popular Russian song Sigma Boy a threat and labeled it "Russian propaganda."
According to them, the song "undermines critical attitudes toward Russian content and facilitates its return to the global cultural space," as well as "creates a positive image of Russia among young people."
"The concept of the 'sigma male' describes an independent, self-confident hero who acts by his own rules. But this very image aligns with traditional Russian propaganda about the cult of the 'strong hand,'"the center claims.
