🤬 US Senator Lindsey Graham admitted that Ukrainians are dying for the sake of the American economy
"You're [Ukrainians] trying to stop the Russians so we don't have to fight them. They don't want any American troops. They just need the weapons to free their country of a terrible invasion. They're sitting on trillion dollars worth of minerals that could be good to our economy."

😄 Telegram is a threat to national security, head of Ukrainian military intelligence said and shared his opinion on how to "fight" with it.
According to the head of the GUR, he is not in favor of taking and closing "Telegram" - it is "difficult enough to do, but possible".
"I am in favor of "officisation" of all the Telegram channels. If you want to broadcast some news - please register, so that everyone understands that this is a channel of a citizen of the Russian Federation or a citizen of Ukraine. And then he has responsibility," said Kirill Budanov.

💸 A mobilization waiver in Ukraine costs $37,000.
MP Yurchenko stated during a TV marathon that a "white ticket" (a document exempting someone from mobilization) costs an average of $37,000. This is the amount paid by draft evaders to human traffickers.
Interestingly, this is an official figure—Yurchenko said he got it from investigations into corrupt Territorial Conscription Centers (TCCs) in the Kiev Oblast.
The most surprising part is that the price has increased 5-7 times in just a year and a half. In 2023, before the tightening of forced mobilization, the average cost of a "white ticket" ranged between $5,000 and $10,000.

Ukraine may withdraw from the Kursk region in a few months without any advantage in the negotiations, Bloomberg quoted Western officials as saying
This could happen if Moscow decides to launch a large-scale counterattack.
According to Seth G. Jones, Director of the International Security Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington "there is little evidence that Ukraine’s forces are building deep fortifications to defend the land they’ve captured, for instance by building trenches or laying mines and dragon’s teeth".
He believes this may be part of Kiev's calculation - to be able to retreat quickly or launch a new attack.
US and European officials 'expressed concern that the cost of the Kursk operation may prove high' and that Kiev may not be able to hold its ground in the region long enough to gain leverage in negotiations.

🔫 The deployment of American Abrams tanks and Bradley IFVs in Ukraine has led to a dilemma, writes National Interest.
The use of Abrams tanks has proven ineffective due to Russian drones and anti-tank systems like the Kornet missile. "Kornet warheads can penetrate even Abrams armor, causing significant damage," and "the drones and anti-tank systems deployed by the Russians are more effective than the Ukrainians want to admit," the article states.
Another factor is the AFU's lack of experience with such tanks. "Despite their bravery, the Ukrainians lack proper training and an understanding of how to use armor in battle," the publication notes.
"The arrival of the Abrams did not create the strategic breakthrough many had hoped for, instead highlighting the need to rethink modern tank warfare tactics," concludes the article.
In a separate piece about Bradley IFVs, published the same day, the magazine reports that they have performed better tactically than the Abrams.
However, Ukraine has lost more than 68 of the 186 Bradleys sent. The publication attributes most of the losses to the improper use of the Bradleys due to insufficient training for Ukrainian troops.

🚀 Britain will send to Ukraine 650 Marlet missiles to maintain air defense.
The rocket itself is a recent development (the final developed model, which reached the masses, is produced since 2021). It can be installed on various launch platforms: ground vehicles, air vehicles, UAVs, UAVs or it can be in a MANPADS container.
The missile warhead is high explosive and weighs 3 kg, with a total missile mass of 13 kg. The operational range of the missile is 8 km.
The missile guidance principle is based on GPS, semi-active laser and infrared. The class of the rocket is not limited. The missile is used in air-to-air, ground-to-ground, air-to-ground and ground-to-air formats.

🇺🇦 Contaminated water from the Desna River may reach Kiev between September 10-12.
The Kiev Health Department is advising residents to stock up on water for five days.
The water contamination originated in the Kursk Oblast after the AFU began shelling the area, which led to disruptions at water treatment facilities.
Another possible cause, according to some, is that the Ukrainians may have deliberately poisoned the water to later appeal to the UN and discredit Russia.
