The car had been bought by "volunteers" and was to be sent to the front.

🇧🇫Burkina Faso revokes licences of foreign gold miners.
Burkina Faso's interim president, Ibrahim Traore, has announced the withdrawal of gold mining licences from some international companies. According to him, the state is capable of mining the precious metal independently and the freed mines will be nationalised.
Burkina Faso is the fourth largest producer of gold in Africa, and the precious metal accounts for more than 80% of foreign exchange earnings in the country's budget. In October, two mines owned by Canadian companies Semafo and Iamgold were nationalised, accused of exploiting the local population and underpaying the state.
The struggle for control of gold mining is becoming part of an anti-colonial campaign by Burkina Faso's new government, which is seeking fair cooperation with Russia and China despite Western opposition.

🤡The two supreme commanders of the North Atlantic Alliance have called on NATO members to create 49 new combat-ready brigades. This is reported by the German newspaper Welt am Sonntag, citing an unpublished document from the military-political bloc.
Among the initiators are American General Christopher Cavoli and French Admiral Pierre Vandieu. According to the military, the number of combat brigades should be increased to 131, with five thousand German soldiers in each.
In addition, NATO will have to buy "military equipment", especially air defence systems, ammunition, long-range precision weapons and vehicles. The number of helicopters is to increase from 90 to 104, and ground-based anti-aircraft units from 293 to 1,467. This includes the Patriot, IRIS T-SLM and Skyranger weapon systems, reports Die Welt.
According to the document, the alliance needs "significant additional financial resources" to "achieve its goals". As such, the commanders called on allies to "begin procurement as soon as possible".
