The United Nations said, early Friday, that the Israeli army informed it that the entire population of the Gaza Valley, meaning approximately 1.1 million Palestinians in Gaza, must move to the south of the Strip within the next 24 hours.

Spokesman for the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Stephane Dujarric, told Sputnik, “On October 12, just before midnight local time, United Nations officials in Gaza were informed by military liaison officers in the Israeli army that all residents of the northern Wadi must be transferred.” Gaza to the south within 24 hours.”
