In addition to our earlier announcement. We are very excited to announce our partnership with UniLend.
UniLend will incorporate UNION's C-OP into its lending platform, enabling borrowers to reduce their locked collateral requirements for depositing assets.
As part of the partnership, $UNN will be listed on UniLend's platform, and in addition to that an AMA with leaders from UNION and UniLend will be held in the future.

We are excited to share our first product Update, featuring Collateral Optimization (C-OP)
At a high level, C-OP enables lending platforms to optimize capital efficiency via options. Specifically, we use American-style Put options priced via a binomial model (explained later in this piece) as our base instrument.

We’re exhilarated to announce our first C-OP integration and bringing cross-chain DeFi protection to none other than Avalanche. The dev team will start the integration immediately and will extensively test our products on Avalanche’s testnet. Upon completion of sufficient testing, we anticipate launching on Avalanche’s mainnet in Q2 2021.

We are excited to announce a partnership with Bonded.
UNION is pleased to announce our partnership with Bonded Finance, a platform for deploying high-yield financial instruments in DeFi that pushes the boundaries of open finance. The partnership will initially encompass UNION smart contract protection for user deposits on Bonded Finance's lending platform - accompanied by the direct integration of C-OP into the lending platform to increase capital efficiency.

The partnership will initially encompass integrating the Kleros Claims Manager contract (that will forward potential disputes to Kleros Court) into the UNION platform. While UNION’s multi-layer governance process and claims system is undergoing development, Kleros’ integration will operate as a streamlined, third-party arbitration system for processing UNION claims.
