✅Left Wing Extremism (LWE) related violence in the country has declined by 77% from an all-time high of 2258 incidents in 2009 to 509 in 2021.
✅Similarly, resultant deaths (Civilians + Security Forces) have declined by 85% from an all-time high of 1005 in 2010
to 147 in 2021.
✅In the last two years, the incidents of LWE violence and the resultant deaths have come down by 24% and 27%, respectively.
✅ 90% of all security personnel fatalities nationwide occurred in Chhattisgarh, which is followed by Jharkhand, which reported 5 fatalities, in terms of overall statistics. In Chhattisgarh over the last three years, the number of security force fatalities at the hands of Maoist insurgency has more than doubled.

✅India-UAE trade rose to $85 billion in 2022. The UAE was India’s third largest trading partner and second-largest export destination in FY2022-23. Conversely, India was the UAE’s second largest trading partner.

✅The major items imported by India are petroleum crude and petroleum related products.
✅The UAE is the fourth largest investor in India. Its cumulative FDI inflows between April 2000 and September 2022 stood at around $15.2 billion.

✅In 2022, global public debt reached a record $92 trillion with developing countries owed almost 30% of the total debt, of which roughly 70% is attributable to China, India and Brazil.

WMO recently released report “Global Sea-level Rise and Implications”

🔆Senior Citizens in India
✅ As per Census Report-2011, population of senior citizens is 10.38 crore, amounting to 8.6% of the total population of the country.
✅ Government of India’s National Commission on Population’s Report of the Technical Group on Population Projections (2011-2036) for India and States, released in July 2020, states that population of senior citizens in 2036 will be 22.7 Crore i.e., 15% of the total population of India.

Over 4 million more children were vaccinated in 2022 compared to the year before, the World Health Organization (WHO) and United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) said in a press release July 18, 2023. Even though immunisation services have picked up pace since the COVID-19 pandemic, recovery remains uneven.
The three-dose vaccine against diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis (whooping cough), also known as the DTP3, is used as the global marker for immunisation coverage.
Over 20.5 million children missed out on one or more vaccines delivered through routine immunisation services in 2022, compared to 24.4 million children in 2021

Medical Device Sector in India
✅The current market size of the medical devices industry in India is estimated at $11 bn (approximately, ? 90,000 Cr) in 2020 and its share in the global medical device market is estimated to be 1.65%.
