This is very shocking !!
Deepseek refused to give any response because Arunachal Pradesh was mentioned in the options.
So freshers who keep asking when should I solve PYQs before reading or after reading the topic.
My answer is do it simultaneously, keep PYQs handy as many as possible, whenever you are reading.
If you are reading the topic casually, then don't read it for the second time without going through pyqs. It will be a waste of time and you will end up reading it casually one more time.

Recently, Madhav Tiger Reserve in Madhya Pradesh was designated as India’s 58th Tiger Reserve. This is an important news item from a current affairs perspective.
Everyone advises aspirants to learn from PYQs (Previous Year Questions), but few explain how to do so effectively. PYQs provide a structured approach to analyze any topic by offering key dimensions to focus on.
For instance, after reviewing more than 50+ questions from various exams, I identified the following potential dimensions for tiger reserve-related questions. These dimensions can serve as a template to study National Parks, Tiger Reserves, Wildlife Sanctuaries, and Biosphere Reserves:
1. Location of the Tiger Reserve (State)
2. Important river(s) flowing through the reserve
3. Association with a Biosphere Reserve or National Park
4. Geographical positioning of the tiger reserve (North-South or East-West)
5. Major conservation achievements, such as Tx2 (doubling the tiger population) or its role in Project Tiger
6. Significant conservation efforts, such as M-STRIPES (asked in UPSC CSE 2017)
7. Any important mascot or species for which the reserve is known
8. UNESCO recognition or any recent significant increase or decrease in tiger population
By systematically using these dimensions, one can effectively prepare for environment and biodiversity-related topics for prelims exams.
This question intends to check whether you know about Stenothermal and Eurythermal.
Now seriously not many of us might be aware about this terms. So what's the way out ?
Way out is your mental preparation and strategy, clarity about which questions you are going to touch and which type of questions you are going to ignore.
Prelims is not all about just solving maximum questions, it's a mix of knowledge, strategy and emotions.

How PYQs are Guiding light in the preparation ?
Previous Year Questions (PYQs) serve as a guiding light in exam preparation, helping you identify important topics, understand question patterns, and focus on relevant concepts.
Without analyzing PYQs, you might approach a subject superficially, memorizing facts without grasping their real significance.
However, someone who has thoroughly reviewed PYQs can strategically prepare, knowing which aspects of a topic are frequently tested.
Take the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) as an example:
1. Understanding the Composition – PYQs often ask about the members of the committee, the chairman, total members, and the voting power of the RBI Governor.
2. Meeting Frequency – someone who has gone through PYQs knows that questions have been asked about how many times the MPC meets in a year.
3. Quorum Requirement – PYQs highlight the importance of the quorum needed to start an MPC meeting.
4. Role in Monetary Policy – PYQs reveal that the MPC decides benchmark rates and utilizes monetary policy instruments like CRR, SLR, and repo rate.
5. Expansionary vs. Contractionary Policies – PYQs help you to understand when the MPC adopts expansionary or contractionary policies and their impact on the economy.
With PYQs you stick to what is needed and what is relevant for the exams without getting lost in the vastness of the topics.
I just tried to explain superficially, it's too deep.
