Hi all, we have an appointment booked for Dec 24th but we got an email from US embassy HYD that it has been rescheduled to Jan 15th because the embassy is closed. Has anyone faced this? Also when we checked the portal, it still shows Dec 24th itself..

Generally they will never look at any documents. Don't even try to show them without being asked. But for ur comfort, carry 6 months bank statements. In case you are employed then carry ITR, property papers.. but they will not ask for any docs from you. They will ask questions like your occupation ,CTC, purpose of visit, details about the person you are planning to visit, any prior visit to US etc. just be confident while answering and speak truth.
