Praying Taraweeh Erases Sins
Abu Hurairah reported:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to urge (the people) to perform (optional Taraweeh) prayer at night during the month of Ramadan. He did not order them or make it obligatory on them. He (ﷺ) said, ❝Whosoever performs (optional Taraweeh) prayers at night during the month of Ramadan, with Faith and in the hope of receiving Allah's reward, will have his past sins forgiven.❞

❝Thirst has gone, the arteries are moist, and the reward is sure, if Allah wills.❞

'Abdur-Rahman bin Abi-Bakrah narrated from his father that a man said, ❝O Messenger of Allah! Which of the people is the best?❞ He (ﷺ) said, ❝He whose life is long and his deeds are good.❞ He said, ❝Then which of the people is the worst?❞ He (ﷺ) said, ❝He whose life is long and his deeds are bad.❞

The deed is the differentiate. You can be the best man, or the worst man because of it. Now, which one are you?

❝This worldly life is no more than play and amusement, but far better is the (eternal) Home of the Hereafter for those mindful (of Allah). Will you not then understand?❞

Allah ﷻ says,
أَرَءَيْتَ ٱلَّذِى يُكَذِّبُ بِٱلدِّينِ ۞ فَذَٰلِكَ ٱلَّذِى يَدُعُّ ٱلْيَتِيمَ ۞
❝Have you seen the one who denies the (final) Judgment? That is the one who repulses the orphan.❞

40 Days Until Ramadan
Forty days left, heading to the month that we are waiting for, Ramadan. How is your preparation? Have you paid off your fasting from the last Ramadan?
Sometimes we want to fulfill our desire with great food, fancy clothes and so on. It is permissible, as reported that Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said:
"Wear what you wish and eat what you wish, as long as you avoid two practices: extravagance and haughtiness."
[Ibn Abi Shaibah, al-Musannaf, hadith 26601]
Imagine if you are poor. How do you feel when you seeing people waste their money on something that eventually mortal? Rather than waste their money on it, it is much better if you can get some part of it, just to survive daily.

❝I swear an oath by Allah on three qualities and I will tell you about them, so memorize them: the wealth of a servant is not decreased by charity, a servant is not wronged by oppression and he endures it patiently but that Allah increases him in honor, and no servant opens the door of begging but that Allah opens for him the door of poverty.❞

💠 Supplications from the Weak Are More Sincere 💠
Abu Ad-Dardaa’ reported that the Prophet of Allah (ﷺ) said,
❝Seek out the weak and poor among you for me, because you will be granted sustenance and victory through the weak among you (by virtue of their supplication and sincerity).❞

🔖 It means that the worship of the weak and destitute and their supplication has more sincerity, since their hearts are free from being attached to the adornments of the worldly life. It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allaah (ﷺ) said,
❝Fasting is a shield. So the fasting person should avoid obscene speech and should not behave foolishly and ignorantly, and if somebody fights with him or insults him, he should tell him twice, ‘I am fasting.’ By the One in Whose hand is my soul, the smell that comes from the mouth of a fasting person is better in the sight of Allah than the scent of musk. (Allah says about the fasting person), ‘He has given up his food, drink and desires for My sake. The fast is for Me and I will reward (the fasting person) for it and the reward of good deeds is multiplied ten times.’❞

The day after tomorrow, we will meet Ramadan, inshaAllah. But the first Ramadan will be determined by sighting the new moon for each country.
Ramadan is a great month. It's a time where Allah opens wide His grace. We are hoping that we can get His shade in the Hereafter too. There is a way to get Allah's shade, as this hadith mentioned:
Abu Hurairah reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said,
❝Verily, Allah will say on the Day of Resurrection: 'Where are those who love each other for the sake of My glory? Today, I will shelter them in My shade, a Day when there is no shade but Mine.'❞

Love is a great nature. But loving because of Allah's sake is the best version. As Muslims, we should love each other, so we can get Allah's shade in the Hereafter.

💠 Sign of Hypocrites: Delaying the Prayer to the End of the Prescribed Time 💠
Anas ibn Malik narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said,
❝This is how a hypocrite prays, he sits monitoring the sun (before sunset), until it is about to set, then he stands up and clicks four Rak’ahs (performs the obligatory four-units prayer extremely fast) and mentions Allah very little (during them).❞
