Creation & thereafter as stated in the
Garuḍa Purāṇa

Bhagwan proceeds to explain the process of creation. During conjugal relationship, thoughts of couple play a predominant role in their progeny. If the conjugal relationship is made on odd nights, girls are born and on even nights, sons are born. During the first seven days of menstrual cycle, couples should not involve in conjugality. A woman’s body generates heat during the first sixteen days after the commencement of her menstrual cycle. If conception happens after 14th day, a virtuous son will be born. Once the foetus is formed, the woman should not be exposed to too much of sun light. Consciousness, the purest form of which is the Lord, is in the procreative fluids of men. The sex of the foetus is also determined by the potency of the procreative fluids of either man or woman. If man’s is potent, a son is formed and if woman’s is potent, a girl is formed. The foetus begins its formation within twenty-four hours from the time of conjugation. When the foetus develops, it absorbs all the five elements within thirty days. At the end of two months, fat and skin are formed. At the end of third month bones are formed. Hair is formed at the end of the fourth month. Ears, nose and stomach are formed at the end of the fifth month. Reproductive organs are formed at the end of the seventh month. Hands and legs are fully developed at the end of the eighth month. During the ninth month, the child is fully developed. At the end of the ninth month or at the beginning of the tenth month, the child is delivered. Delivery of the child takes place with the help of air.

Bhagwan then proceeds to explain how the five elements (ākāśa, air, fire, water and earth) form different parts of the body. Sound, gravity, hearing and support are the qualities of ether (ākāśa). Love, hatred, fear and illusion are the qualities of air. Saliva, urine, bone marrow and blood are the qualities of water. Hunger, thirst, sluggishness and brilliance are the factors of fire. Exercising and other actions are the qualities of earth.
Bhagwan then talks about the organs of action and the organs of perception. There are ten principle nāḍī-s - iḍā, piṅgala, suṣumna, gāndhārī, hasti-jihvā, pūṣā, yaśā, alambuś,a kuhū and śaṅkhinī. Similarly prāṇa-s are also ten types - prāṇa, apāna, samāna, udāna, vyāna, nāga, kūrma, kṛkāra, devatatta and dhanañjaya. With the help of air, the assimilated food, in association with these nāḍī-s and prāṇa-s distribute the digested food to various parts of the body. The unassimilated food (or the remains of the digested food) is egested from the body, predominantly through the two excretory organs. Lord says that there are thirty-five million hair, thirty two teeth, twenty nails, seven hundred thousand hair in the face and the head of a physical body.
https://www.facebook.com/groups/173485141079966/?ref=share
Pleasure and pain are the result of one’s karma. Foetus and the fully grown-up child in the womb is nourished through the umbilical cord attached to its mother. The foetus consumes whatever is consumed by the mother. The soul (subtle body) recollects its actions during its previous lives, while sojourning in the womb. By getting afflicted by its karmas, it decides that it should not commit further sins during the ensuing life. Though the child loses its consciousness at the time of ejection from the womb, it regains its consciousness immediately after inhaling its first breath. Immediately, after the child is out of the womb, it forgets all its past life and hence its decision as to not to make any further sins also goes haywire. The child is deluded by māyā and continues to remain in that state throughout the process of aging, until its death. It is again reborn, and this cycle continues until it attains liberation. If there is any interim period between death and the next birth, its subtle body undergoes either pleasure or pain, depending upon its karmic account.

Lighting Of Lemon Lamp To Goddess Durga, Along With The Mantra To Be Recited

We find different kinds of rituals performed in temple premises, whenever we visit goddess temples that too especially Shakti mata temple. One the ritual which we come across most often is lighting of lemon lamp to goddess Durga Devi. Though, this practice has no mention in any of our ancient Puranas (class of Sanskrit sacred writings), it has been followed for a very long time and this practice has been in fact found to be effective in reality. It is important that we do this pooja for 09 weeks continuously.
Lemon Lamps
Lamps Made Out Of Lemon
Rahu Kala Timings
Sunday : 04:30 PM to 06:00 PM
Monday : 07:30 AM to 09:00 AM
Tuesday : 03:00 PM to 04:30 PM
Wednesday: 12:00 PM to 01:30 PM
Thursday : 01:30 PM to 03:00 PM
Friday : 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM
Saturday : 09:00 AM to 10:30 AM
We should cut the lemon which has to be offered to goddess Durga only in Rahu kala. We should not cut and keep it ready before Rahu Kala. This pooja can be done on Tuesdays and Fridays. 3 Ripe yellow lemons have to be taken and cut into equal halves. When you cut 3 lemons, you get 6 pieces(6 halves), one is offered to Ganapati(Lord Ganesh) who had been given the boon by Goddess Parvati (Shakti and Durga are the forms of Goddess Parvati) that he will always get the privilege of being worshiped first before any Gods and Goddesses. So one piece of the lemon lamp is offered to Lord Ganesha and the remaining 5 pieces to Goddess Durga. We must remember that the number of lemon lamps lit for the Devi have to be always Odd Numbers, so 1, 3 5, 7 or 11 as per how you pray to the Goddess.
The juice should be squeezed out completely. Then the half lime should be turned inside-out (inverted) and the fruit inside to be scooped out, making a cup like structure where you can pour oil or ghee. Sometimes, the outer skin of the lemon might create a whole in center which must not be used. Due to this, it is always better to buy extra lemons. Now introduce a thread or a wicker or a ball of cotton shaped with a wicker on top and fill the lemon with ghee or oil and lit the same. Place the lemon lamp at the place allotted for keeping lemon lamps in the temple and bow to the Goddess.
Since Lemon is an spiritual fruit, cutting this fruit might lead to some un-favorable effects. To overcome this, we need chant few mantras i.e. while cutting the fruit one should chant "Aim" - beej mantra of Goddess Saraswati. During the turning i.e. inverting process of the lemon one should chant "Hreem" - beej mantra of Goddess Maha Lakshmi. While pouring the oil or ghee one should chant "Kleem" - beej mantra of Goddess Maha Kali. And finally while lighting the lamp you should chant "Chamundaye Vicche".
Thus the mantra means that the three gunas, the three Goddesses are constantly moving in the paradigm of reality giving birth to all that is knowable as perceived by consciousness.

VedicWisdomUK🌱

The idol is supposed to be worshipped by the devotee as per the rituals, as enjoined by the scriptures. The Lord is given a warm welcome (āvāhanam), offered a seat (āsanam), followed by washing the feet (pādyam), washing the hands (arghyam), offering a drink (ācamanam), bath (snānam), special bath (abhiṣekam), clothes (vastram), sandal paste or perfume (gandham). He is decorated with flowers (puṣpam) offered food (naivedyam) and lights are shown to Him (ārati) and so on. These steps are done primarily with the body and so worship is said to be the devotional practice done by the body. But the chants (mantras) are pronounced by the speech and the mind should necessarily back the body and the speech. Therefore, in pūjā there is support of all the three – body, speech and mind.

The mind gets purified by worshipping the form of the Lord. As devotion increases so does the eagerness to know more about the Lord. The mind that constantly revels in the name, form and qualities of the Lord, is naturally drawn towards the nature of the Lord. We are told that the Lord is the Creator, the very cause of the entire universe. The cause pervades the effect and hence the Lord is omnipresent. Knowing thus, we cannot entertain any ill-feelings or show indifference towards any thing or being in the universe.

Whatever is experienced, can only be the experience of our beloved Lord. When such love fills our being, service or sevā follows naturally. Bhagavān Ramana Maharshi says that service of any being with this attitude, is true worship. This indicates that to worship the Lord, some special and particular actions need not be undertaken. Every action in itself can become as good as a spiritual act, when done with the right outlook and the right attitude of service (seva). This way, the very work ot act one does, which could have otherwise caused bondage, becomes the doorway to liberation.

Our duty (svadharma) according to our position and status in life can be done perfectly, with the understanding that - by our knowledge, talents, strength and action we are serving the Lord alone. An engineer need not necessarily take up a tree planting programme or a slum-clearance drive to show his concern for the society and his devotion to the Lord. But with an attitude of worship, if he utilises his knowledge in the construction of a bridge, then such service is also the worship of the Lord. The Lord is omnipresent and so we should worship that all pervading Lord, consciously through our body, speech and mind.

Atithidevo Bhava (Sanskrit: अतिथिदेवो भव:)🌹

Any guest or Atithi is being given a respectable place in ancient Vedas.
Atithi Devo Bhava, English translation: A guest is akin to God, prescribes a dynamic of the host-guest relationship, which embodies the traditional Indian Hindu philosophy of revering guests with the same respect as a god. This concept of going out of the way to treat guests with reverence goes even beyond the traditional Sanatan Hindu common greeting of namaste (I bow to the divinity in you) used for everyone.

If the karmic account is good, one tends to undergo pleasure both on earth and in heaven. If the karmic account is bad, then it undergoes sufferings both on earth and in hell. There are fourteen types of worlds, seven upper worlds and seven lower worlds. The seven vyāhṛti-s of the famous Gāyatrī mantra are the seven upper worlds. Each of these worlds is related to fourteen parts of the body. In the same way, the nine planets used in astrology also represent nine parts of the body.

The entire cosmos is in the human body and the Soul within is the God. There is no difference between cosmos and human body except that the former is the macrocosm and latter is the microcosm. The cosmic Lord is in no way different from the Lord within the human body or for that matter, in any living being. In order to differentiate (arising out of ignorance), Cosmic Lord is represented by Self and empirical self is represented by self.

Sanātana Dharma (Devanagari: सनातन धर्म, meaning "eternal dharma", "eternal order")
The phrase dharma sanātana occurs in classical Sanskrit literature, for example, in the Manusmrti (4-138)and in the Bhagavata Purana.(8.14)
https://www.facebook.com/groups/173485141079966/?ref=share
Also endonym used by Hindus to refer to Hinduism. It refers to the “eternal” truth and teachings of Hinduism. It can also be translated as “the natural and eternal way to live". The term is used in Indian languages alongside the more common Hindu Dharma for Hinduism. Sanatana Dharma can also denote the list of 'eternal' or absolute duties and practices.
In Sanskrit, Sanātana Dharma translates approximately to "eternal law" or, less literally, "eternal way." In Hindi, the Sanskrit tatsama dharm धर्म is being used as "religion" (सनातन धर्म) roughly translates to "eternal religion".

Dharma is often translated as "duty", "religion" or "religious duty", but has a deeper meaning. The word comes from the Sanskrit root "dhri" which means "to sustain" or "that which is integral to something" (e.g. dharma of sugar is to be sweet, fire to be hot). A person's dharma consists of duties that sustain them according to their innate characteristics which are both spiritual and material, generating two corresponding types:

Sanatana-dharma – duties performed according to one's spiritual (constitutional) identity as atman (Self) and are thus the same for everyone. General duties include virtues such as honesty, refraining from injuring living beings, purity, goodwill, mercy, patience, forbearance, self-restraint, generosity, and asceticism.
Varnashrama-dharma (Svadharma) – duties performed according to one's material (conditional) nature and are specific to the individual at that particular time. One's "own duty" according to his or her class or varna and stage of life should win when in conflict with Sanatana-dharma (e.g. A warrior injuring others as explained in Bhagavad Gita).
According to the notion of sanatana-dharma, the eternal and intrinsic inclination of the living entity (atman) is to perform seva (service). Sanatana-dharma, being transcendental, refers to universal and fundamental laws that are beyond our temporary belief systems.
The vedic scriptures that form the very essence of Sanatan Dharma.

Bhagwan

What Is The Meaning Of Bhagawan (Supreme God)?
Who can be Bhagwan?
The Purana states:
Visnu purana 6.5.47

aiśvaryasya samagrasya
vīryasya yaśasaḥ śriyaḥ
jñāna-vairāgyayoś caiva
saṇṇāṁ bhaga itiṅgana

Bhagavan, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, is thus defined by Parasara Muni as one who is full in six opulences

1) Who has full strength,
2) Full Fame,
3) Full Wealth
4) Full Knowledge,
5) Full Beauty
6) Full Renunciation

The six opulences are fully represented in Krsna; therefore He is Bhagavan. Bhaga means opulences, and van means one who possesses. This is the meaning of Krsna, that He is all-attractive because He possesses all the six opulences. So we should not accept anyone and everyone as Bhagavan. We must test whether he has got the six opulences.

VĀLMIKI RÃMÃYAN

In Valmiki Ramayana, Sugreeva orders Vanara leader Vinata to go towards east direction and search for Seetha. Vinata is allowed to take 100,000 vanaras with him in this search operation.

The reference point for directions specified by Sugreeva is not Kishkinda, but center of Vindhya mountains, which is near Nagpur today. Sugreeva asks Vinata to first search towards North-East where rivers like Ganga, Yamuna, Sarayu, Kaushiki (koshi), Shona (shon), Mahii, Kalamahi, Sindhu and Saraswati begin their journey.

He also asks him to search in kingdoms of Brahma-maala, Videha, Maalva, Kaashi, Kosala, Maagadha, Pundra, Anga. These kingdoms are from present Himalayas till north-east where Brahmaputra river flows.

River Shona is present day Shon, and Kaushiki is Koshi, and she is the sister of Vishvamitra. That sage explains about the emergence of this river in Bala Kanda.

He did not even want to spare Seetha's birth place mithila (Videha) and expected Ravana might have hidden her somewhere other than Lanka.

Sugreeva also describes about half-man half-tiger like man-eating tribals (those who wear tiger masks and hunt humans), few with iron-faces (masks) and rapid moment on single-foot (hopping on long sticks).
He also talks about islanders who eat raw fish and to reach there Vanaras will need boats. These must be deltas in Brahmaputra river.

He talks about golden complexion tribe who wear long hats or towering wisps (Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam).

Here, तीक्ष्ण चूडा: च हेमाभाः f: (4-40-27) means people with towering wisps, wearing golden crowns or complexion and pleasant faces.

They are Khmer people in East Asia.

मागधाम् च महाग्रामान् पुण्ड्रान् अंगाम् तथैव च | भूमिम् च कोशकाराणाम् भूमिम् च रजत आकराम् ॥ ४-४०-२३

Translation: From Magadha, through Pundra and Anga enter the land of Koshakaara, which is literally a silkworm or one who makes scabbards or a lexicographer.

Sugreeva describes the land where Silk is worn and Silver is mined. This is present day Myanmar (Burma) where Myanmar silk is real hand made and even in neighbouring countries like Thailand, silk is worn.

Fake history was created that Silk originated in China during 4th millenium BCE and did not travel outside until 'Silk Road' opened in 1st millenium BCE.
Lotus Silk is a variety, which does not involve silkworm and is called a non-violent silk. This originated in Burma (Myanmar).

Later he describes 7 kingdoms which have gold and silver mines like Yava (Java), Sumatra, Bali, Indonesia etc. Yava became Java, and simha puri 'lion-city' became the present day Singapore.

यत्नवन्तो यव द्वीपम् सप्त राज्य उपशोभितम् । सुवर्ण रूप्यकम् द्वीपम् सुवर्ण आकर मण्डितम् ॥ 8-80-30

Translation : You strive hard in the island of Yava, which will be splendorous with seven kingdoms, like that even in Golden and Silver islands. that are enwreathed with gold-mines, in and around Yava islands.

He called the land between Myanmar (Burma) till Malaysia as Suvarna Rupyakam Dweepam. Even today countries between Myanmar-Malaysia are called Suvarnabhumi.
Bangkok airport is named as
Suvarnabhumi International Airport. Here, the mountains described are inThailand.

After searching in Plaksha and Ikshu islands, which are Indonesia and Malaysia, Sugreeva asks them to go towards an Island where sea waves dash the shores violently.

ततः समुद्र द्वीपान् च सुभीमान् द्रष्टुम् अर्हथ | ऊर्मिमंतम् महारौद्रम् क्रोशंतम् अनिल उद्धितम् || 8-80-3&

Translation: It will be apt of you to proceed from there and see the terribly furious, tempestuous, blaring, and tide-ripped ocean called ikshu samudra, and that ocean's islands which will be extremely ghastly.

Here, Anila Uddhitam or Aniloddhita is description of present day Japan, where 'Anil' means wind and 'Uddhita' means impudent.
The Island where wind is always impudent and strong waves hit the coasts is Japan. Even today Japan faces fierce storms from all sides.

Sugreeva then orders them to down towards Australia and then to New Zealand and thereafter towards South America.

The strong antioxidant activity of Vana Tulsi slows down the ageing process.

4- Kapoor Tulsi or Heavy Flowered Basil🌿:

This type of tulsi has garnished its name due to the sweet fragrance that can keep insects and mosquitoes at bay. Kapoor tulsi is short in terms of heights and gets the most number of flowers among all different types of the tulsi plant

Use of Kapoor tulsi can help in the treatment of bronchitis, malaria, diarrhoea, dysentery, skin disease, arthritis.

"Tulsi gives out oxygen for 20 hours and ozone for four hours a day along with the formation of nascent oxygen which absorbs harmful gases like carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and sulphur dioxide from the environment,"

The story of Shri Ram and Mata Sita is told in the Hindu epic, the Ramayana
The classic version of the tale is the Valmiki rendition. Scholars now consider the last “book” (kanda) of Valmiki’s Ramayana as coming at a later date and being penned by a different author. This is important because it is in that kanda, which takes place after Ram is crowned king of Ayodhya, that Sita This is important because it is in that kanda, which takes place after Ram is crowned king of Ayodhya, that Sita is brought low by the patriarchal assumption that she is nothing more than the wife of Ram, who was kidnapped against her will by the demon king Ravana and rescued by Ram, the hero. It is here that her purity is questioned, her reputation sullied, and she is forced to retreat to a forest hermitage where she bears her twin sons and raises them before she asks Mother Earth to open and receive her once again.
