An important discussion, given Ukraine's European integration track. Currently, we have 7 tasks and expectations for the opening of the negotiation process this year. All reforms have two important indicators: quality and sustainability. Not only to adopt, but also to have successful results of their implementation. The experience of partners who have recently joined the EU tells us this. The European Commission will assess the sustainable impact of our reforms and regulations.

❗️ Such projects are a marker of positive changes in the country that take place not thanks to, but in spite of the circumstances, — Iryna Konstankevych, the First Deputy Chairman of the Humanitarian Policy Committee, took part in the celebration of the anniversary of the VONA hub in Lutsk.
🔹The project "Free, Empowered, Independent, Ambitious" aims to develop the professional potential and financial capacity of women who have suffered from domestic or gender-based violence and women at risk of violence.
💬We talked about achievements, support for women as a priority of state and regional policy, women's economic and financial independence, heroism and selflessness. This is an important initiative, especially for women who have not been favored by fate. I see it as a resource that inspires not only our society in difficult wartime, but also international partners who see our potential. This is a powerful foundation and a driving force to move forward, commented Iryna Konstankevych.
The Committee on Ukraine's Integration into the EU has considered a draft Resolution-appeal to the international community on the need to decolonize russia and support the national liberation struggle of enslaved peoples (№9671).
🔹The document was developed to support the right to self-determination of the peoples enslaved by russia.
🔹To do this, the project proposes to recognize the relevant right by the international community and lay the foundation for building external relations with the peoples who exercise it.
🔹In addition, the document aims to take actions that would make it impossible to continue russia's colonial policy, including denuclearization, demilitarization, derussization and accountability.
🔹The Committee decided to propose to the Main Committee to finalize the text of the Resolution taking into account the legislative acts on the above-mentioned topics adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine during 2019-2022 and in coordination with relevant institutions and organizations.
⚡️ The European Parliament has adopted the Instrument for Strengthening the Defense Industry through Cooperative Procurement (EDIRPA)
✔️ 300 million euros by the end of 2025 to strengthen defense capabilities;
✔️ bonuses for projects supporting Ukraine and Moldova.

🇨🇦 I had the honor to award the Certificate of Honor of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to Gordon Miller, the most famous hockey reporter for the Bell Media TSN sports cable network, for his significant personal contribution to the development of Ukrainian hockey, strengthening the international authority of Ukraine, and active work to ensure effective assistance to Ukraine in the face of russian armed aggression.
Thanks to his active involvement, the Ukrainian Hockey Dream Foundation has been successful and a charity tour of the Ukrainian national ice hockey team called Hockey Can`t Stop took place.
🇺🇦We are thankful that in these difficult days we have true friends, including the world hockey community, which helps our country. russia has disrupted our plans to build ice arenas, but we believe that in a victorious Ukraine there will be a place for hockey and its development!

🇺🇦 Assistance to Ukraine with Ukrainian goods is the most effective, — Dmytro Kysylevskyi, the Deputy Chairman of the Economic Development Committee:
🔹 Japan continues to set an example for other governments and organizations on how to provide the most effective assistance to Ukraine.
🔹Recently, 24 trucks with ISUZU cranes have been handed over to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine as part of an international technical assistance project from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) with the participation of the Japanese Foreign Minister Yoshimasa Hayashi.
🔹 This is part of the project of the Government of Japan to develop Ukraine's capacity in humanitarian demining and explosive ordnance disposal.
⚡️ The most difficult to adopt is the law on measures of enhanced control over politically exposed persons, — the Chairman of the Finance Committee Danylo Hetmantsev
🔹There is an active discussion on the draft law on politically exposed persons. It is about the fact that MPs, high-ranking officials and members of local councils should be subject to enhanced control measures for life.
🔹The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is currently debating whether this status should be valid only for three years after the end of the term or after the official's dismissal, or whether it should be for life.
🔹The lifetime status is in line with the laws and directives of the European Union, where such a rule is in force.
🕯️Young warrior Oleksandr Zhmurko gave his life in Donetsk region — the Youth and Sports Committee
Since 2017, he worked as a coach at the Start Stadium and was the head of the community football federation. Oleksandr is a multiple champion of regional and district football competitions.
On April 25, he joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as an assistant machine gunner. The hero took his last battle near Bakhmut.
Oleksandr is survived by his parents and brother.

🇺🇦 Despite russia's military aggression against Ukraine, the state is taking all measures to support the domestic agricultural sector, the Committee on Agrarian and Land Policy informs:
🔹 According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, this year more than ten million hryvnias were paid to four more agricultural enterprises under the government grant program to support small and medium-sized businesses eRobota.
🔹The money will be used to develop horticulture, berry growing, and viticulture.
🔹In total, this year 107 farms received state aid in the amount of UAH 414 million for the development of gardens and greenhouses.
🔹In particular, UAH 335 million was paid to 91 farms for gardens. Another 16 received UAH 79.2 million for greenhouses.
🔹Since the beginning of the program, UAH 463.2 million has been paid to 116 business entities.
🔹 The government grant program is valid from July 1, 2022 and provides support for small and medium-sized businesses.
Since this morning, various Ukrainian cities and regions have been hit by Russian attacks.
Nikopol – brutal Russian shelling, artillery. Ochakiv in Mykolaiv region, Kherson, and other cities and villages in Kherson region, Polohy district in Zaporizhzhia region, Donetsk, Pokrovsk district, Bakhmut district, Volnovakha district, and others. Even when there is a relative peace and quiet in some parts of our territory, we should always remember our land, our cities, and villages that are almost constantly under fire.
And even though today is the 565th day of this war, all of us, each and every one in Ukraine, should remain focused on defending the state just as we did in the early days. Russia does not hope to win. The enemy hopes only that we will not endure. Ukraine must endure. Anything that strengthens us is a priority. And only that is a priority.
No weakening! And we won't allow anyone to weaken Ukraine.

❗️ The pseudo-elections held by the aggressor state in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine contradict international law and are legally null and void, — the Chairman of the Human Rights Committee Andrii Zadorozhnyi:
🔹 By holding the so-called "elections" to the occupation representative authorities in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine on September 8-10, 2023, russia once again demonstrated to the world that such concepts as "democracy", "rule of law", "free expression of will" are not inherent in the aggressor state.
🔹 "Elections" held under conditions of de facto occupation, forced passportization and forced participation cannot have anything to do with the expression of will.
💬I hope that all those involved in organizing and holding the so-called "elections" in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine will be brought to justice, the parliamentarian said.
🇺🇦🥋 Three more medals were won by Ukrainian karateka at the Karate1 Premier League in Ireland, — the Committee of Youth and Sports:
🔹 A brilliant victory was celebrated in the weight up to 55 kg by Anzhelika Terliuha, who won her third "gold" this season and 16th overall at competitions of this level!
🔹 In the weight over 84 kg, in the last seconds of the final against Chilean Rodrigo Rojas, Rizvan Talibov snatched the gold medal and thus won his second consecutive Premier League stage (5:4).

🔹The statement was signed by the Chairman of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe Krišjānis Karinš, PACE President Tiny Kox and Secretary General of the Council of Europe Marija Pejčinović Burić.
💬We strongly condemn the illegitimate sham "elections" that took place on 8-10 September 2023 in the territories of Ukraine temporarily occupied by the russian federation. Held in flagrant violation of international law, they consitute a further illustration of the denial by the russian federation of the values of democracy, human rights and the rule of law upheld by the Council of Europe, — the statement said.

🔹She thanked Germany for all the assistance provided to Ukraine, for the military capabilities that protect the lives of both civilians and our soldiers on the front line today.
💬I am also grateful that you communicate with representatives of different political forces in the Parliament, because it is important to hear different voices. Of course, it is important for all of us, regardless of which Committee of the Verkhovna Rada we represent, to do everything we can to ensure that Ukraine withstands, wins and has a future, the Committee Chair said.
🔹 She noted that Ukraine is now very well aware of the unique window of opportunity before the end of the year to start negotiations on EU accession, as next year will be influenced by the elections in the EU.
⏺ Recently, three children have been returned to their native land from the TOT and the russian federation.
The work on returning Ukrainian children home continues. Two girls and a boy have already met with their families. They are 14-15 years old.
❕Communicating with a schoolboy, I asked him what he dreams of becoming. In response, I heard: "A police officer to take care of people's safety." Ukrainian children have great dreams and goals. So to help them realize them, we help them in the educational process by providing technical devices.
The children will undergo rehabilitation, support from a psychologist and lawyers.

🔹 The initiative was supported by 43 countries. These are the Council of Europe countries and all G7 members. Any Ukrainian who has suffered from a war crime is entitled to compensation.
🔹 A war crime must be registered. This is the responsibility of the National Police and the Prosecutor's Office. Then everything will be transferred to the office in The Hague.
🔹Monetary compensation will be paid for each case. Our international partners are ready to do this with a claim for compensation from frozen russian assets.
Today, we have a lot to thank all the warriors of our 95th air assault brigade for. The 3rd assault brigade - well done, guys! "Fury" joint assault brigade of the National Police - thank you! All three brigades distinguished themselves in the battles in the Bakhmut sector. Those were important successful actions.
The 46th separate airmobile brigade and the 47th separate mechanized brigade - thank you, warriors, for your advancement! The 72nd separate mechanized brigade and the 79th separate air assault brigade - thank you for the extremely strong defense of our positions!

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine awarded Okabe Yoshihiko, the Chairman of the Association of Ukrainian Studies in Japan and Professor at Kobe Gakuin University, with a Certificate of Honor for his significant personal contribution to the development of Ukrainian-Japanese relations, support for Ukraine's state sovereignty and territorial integrity, and popularization of its historical heritage and modern achievements.
We sincerely appreciate all the support of Japan on our path to victory. In particular, we also support their territorial integrity. The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted a resolution to support Japan's position on its Northern Territories and recognize that they continue to be under russian occupation.

🇺🇦🇬🇪 A monument to the Hero of Ukraine Oleksandr Matsiyevskyi, who was shot by russians for saying "Glory to Ukraine!", was unveiled in Georgia.
The sculpture was installed in Tbilisi.
The defender was a sniper of the 163rd Battalion of the 119th Separate Brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces in Chernihiv region.

The Agrarian Committee: 40% of agricultural land in the de-occupied territories has been surveyed in Ukraine:
🔹 According to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, almost 188.6 thousand hectares of agricultural land in the de-occupied territories have been surveyed for explosive ordnance, of which 124.02 thousand hectares need to be cleared.
🔹 According to the plan for demining agricultural land in the de-occupied territories, 470 thousand hectares of fertile land are subject to survey. These are Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Cherkasy, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Kherson, and Kharkiv regions.
🔹 Out of this amount of land, 76.22 thousand hectares have already been cleared as part of the operational response, more than 7.8 thousand hectares require humanitarian demining measures carried out by mine action operators.

The European Union strongly condemns and will not recognize the results of the illegitimate so-called "elections" in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, as well as in certain parts of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions of Ukraine.
"This is yet another clear violation of international law, including the UN Charter, of Ukraine's independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity. The European Union does not and will not recognize the holding of these so-called 'elections' or their results. The political leadership of russia and those involved in organizing them will be held accountable for these illegal actions," said the EU High Representative Josep Borrell, in a statement released by the EU Delegation to Ukraine.
The European Union also highly appreciates the courage of the people of Ukraine who opposed the fake vote and continue to resist the russian occupation.

The Invictus Games have started in Düsseldorf.
These are international adaptive sports competitions for wounded veterans, in which the Ukrainian national team also participates. Our veterans have already won six medals: one gold, three silvers and two bronzes.
🥇 Team captain and veteran Oleksandr Makovei won gold for Ukraine in the shot put.
🥈Mykola Zaritskyi took 2nd place in the discus throw.
🥈 Volodymyr Hera —second place in the shot put in the category.
🥈Maksym Zubov won silver in powerlifting.
🥉Vadym Maznichenko — bronze medal in the shot put.
🥉Another bronze medal for Volodymyr Tovkis in the discus throw.
Ukrainian paramedic Yuliia Paievska (Taira) also competed in powerlifting. She took 12th place among women.
We congratulate our entire team on their good work! The most important thing is participation in such competitions and worthy representation of the Ukrainian veterans' movement among the 23 participating countries.

🌾 It is extremely important for Ukrainian farmers to restore the grain deal, as the autumn harvest and the autumn sowing campaign are already starting, — Dmytro Solomchuk, the member of the Committee on Agrarian and Land Policy:
🔹 Four ships have already left Ukrainian ports in Odesa region after russia terminated the grain deal. The ships sailed through the 12-mile zone, and the russians could not influence this, despite threats.
🔹 The same corridor can be used by ships to export Ukrainian agricultural products, if our Defense Forces have enough means to cover them, and other states, including those in the Black Sea, will join in to ensure security.
💬 New ships can enter and exit Ukrainian ports, but this requires the joint work of many states. Now Ukraine is actively working in this direction at the level of the Parliament, the Cabinet of Ministers, and the Office of the President, the parliamentarian noted.
‼️ We cannot exchange justice for peace in our country, — the Oleksandr Kachura, the Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Organization of State Power, Local Self-Government, Regional Development and Urban Planning:
🔹 Peace or justice is a wrong choice. Only punishment can ensure that our society feels truly justice when putin and his henchmen are put in the dock.
🔹 The international community is no longer saying that the tribunal will not be established, it is now looking for mechanisms to create it.
🔹A meeting of the core group will take place this month. This is a meeting of countries that are working out ways of what the tribunal should be like.
