The Invictus Games 2023 are over. Ukrainian veterans returned from the competition in Dusseldorf with the best team result in history! — The Vice-Speaker Olena Kondratiuk:
🇺🇦 Our athletes won 34 awards: 12 gold, 14 silver and 8 bronze medals in six sports.
Congratulations to the whole team on this achievement! I was rooting for Oleksandr Budko-Teren, whom I know personally!
He made a successful debut at the Games, winning a bronze medal in the 50-meter freestyle. He also helped the Ukrainian team win silver in the swimming relay. I am proud of his success!

🥇🇺🇦 The Ukrainian athlete Yaroslava Maguchikh has won the high jump competition at the Diamond League finals in Eugene, USA, — The Youth and Sports Committee:
🔹 Our current world champion won gold with a jump of 2.03 meters, which was the best result of the season for her personally and in the world! Nicola Olislagers from Australia also conquered this height, setting a personal record, but she did it on the third attempt, while the Ukrainian did it on the second, which decided the fate of the first place!
🔹 It should be noted that the 21-year-old Yaroslava won the Diamond League final for the second time in a row. Last year, she also triumphed in Zurich with a score of 2.03.

🔹 High week of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly, which will take place this month, is the main platform of world diplomacy. And the speech of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi from the UN podium will be of great diplomatic importance.
💬 We must convince as many UN member states as possible to support this Formula, because it guarantees not only the security of Ukraine, but also the whole world.
🔹 Active work is ongoing to find a political and legal mechanism to remove russia from the UN Security Council.
💬 russia violated the UN Charter, unjustifiably and illegally usurped the place of the ussr as a permanent member of the UN Security Council. It cannot be excluded that from a legal point of view it is not a member of the Organization. Therefore, we need to find a mechanism of elimination.
❗️In the negotiations with NATO, the main issue remains the strengthening of the air defense of Ukraine to close all our airspace, — the Deputy Chairman of the National Security Committee Yehor Chernev:
🔹 The main issue that is currently being discussed at Ukraine-NATO level meetings remains the preparation of Ukraine for the winter period in terms of strengthening air defense.
🔹 russia continues to use missiles and kamikaze drones, so it is necessary to cover not only cities, but also the entire energy infrastructure.
🔹 Another important issue is the supply of electricity and fuel to our state to cover our needs, if necessary.
💬 It is important that we are now talking about specific goals regarding our approach to NATO standards and principles. It should not be work for the sake of performance, but a purposeful effort. We want to agree on concrete steps and move in this direction.

Behind thousands of lives rescued after Russian shelling, over 100,000 fires extinguished, and over 430,000 explosive objects disposed of is the daily work of the State Emergency Service employees.
I thank everyone who is involved in rescue operations for setting an example—an example of dedication and focus on the interests of the state and people.

We are continuing to prepare for the Defense Industries Forum, the first event of its kind to take place in Ukraine. It will happen this autumn.
Interest in the Forum is very high. This fully reflects Ukraine's strength and potential – our ability to defend ourselves and help other countries preserve freedom and international order. Already, 86 leading defense companies from around the world – representing 21 countries – have confirmed their participation in the Forum.
Our task is absolutely clear – to provide Ukraine with all the opportunities to produce weapons and ammunition, to provide modern technology to have reliable protection against any form of aggression. Moreover, of course, to share our defense experience among allies and partners. The world must be stronger than any threat to life from aggressors or terrorists.

🌾 Involving international partners in the development of the agricultural sector — a meeting of the Chairman of the Agrarian Committee Oleksandr Haidu with the regional management of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) programs
🔹We discussed attracting investments, creating new grant programs, strengthening support for farmers, and assistance in de-mining farmland, as the SES lacks special equipment due to the volume of work.
🔹The issue of developing land logistics was also discussed. Farmers are building dry ports on their own, but they also need to attract investment in these projects.
🔹We drew the attention of FAO representatives to the need for such support in times of war. I hope the partners will consider allocating funds for the development of logistics routes. After all, dry ports, multimodal complexes and terminals are essential for our farmers in the face of the blockade of the water area and enemy shelling, said Oleksandr Haidu.

🔹 The Education and Science Committee announces that the Prime Minister of Great Britain (2019-2022), prominent politician Boris Johnson has officially become part of the academic community of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.
🔹 During a solemn meeting of the Academic Council of the University, the great friend of Ukraine was awarded a Doctor Honoris Causa degree from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.
🔹Boris Johnson delivered a traditional inaugural lecture to the academic community.

🇺🇦 Sites in Kyiv and Lviv have been added to the UNESCO List of World Heritage in Danger, — The Committee on Humanitarian and Information Policy:
🔹 On September 15, the UNESCO World Heritage Committee, which met in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, approved the inscription of the sites "Kyiv: St. Sophia Cathedral and Adjacent Monastic Buildings, Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra" and "Ensemble of the Historic Center of Lviv" on the List of World Heritage in Danger of Destruction caused by russian aggression.
🔹 The inclusion of Ukrainian sites on this List provides the state with additional legal arguments to collect evidence of russian aggression against Ukraine's cultural heritage.
🔹 In general, the UNESCO World Heritage Committee notes that in order to fully guarantee the protection of the outstanding universal value of a site, the optimal conditions are no longer met and it is potentially endangered by war. These sites are also vulnerable to shock waves caused by russian bombing.

🔹 The European Commission will not extend the embargo on grain imports from Ukraine. This is evidence of the support of our state, as well as a high assessment of the implementation of the norms of the EU by our state.
🔹 We are moving in the direction of the EU, complying with all norms and requirements, so there can be no question of any restrictions on our products.
💬 The decision of the Eurocomission shows the support of our state. At the same time, Poland's statements regarding its desire to continue to block supplies of Ukrainian agricultural products go against the EU's position. It turns out that there are different conditions in one European zone, which is absolutely unacceptable. I hope that these political games will end as soon as possible, and this autumn the export of Ukrainian products will be free.

Extraordinary people, men and women! They are true Heroes among us because they do extraordinary things every day. They save the lives of others at the risk of their own!
Over the year and a half of full-scale war, Ukrainian rescuers have saved 5357 people from the rubble of buildings destroyed by shelling.
They show courage, perseverance and professionalism in performing their duties, and most importantly, humanity. No matter what happens, we know that our rescuers will be the first to rush to the rescue.

🇺🇦 Ukrainian songs are six times more popular on YouTube charts than before the full-scale invasion, says Oleksandr Sanchenko, the head of the Music Industries Subcommittee of the Public Policy Committee, citing an article by Anastasia Diachkina in Ekonomichna Pravda.
📲 In 2021, the share of russian-language songs in the weekly charts of Ukrainian YouTube was 75%. After February 24, 2022, Ukrainian YouTube changed radically: domestic artists flooded the charts. Older songs by experienced artists began to hit the charts. According to EP's estimates, the number of Ukrainian-speaking singers who hit the national charts in 2022 increased from 40 to 135. The share of their songs in the top 100 increased from 10 to 55, and in 2023 — to 65, the article says.
💬As the chairman of the subcommittee on music industries, I am very pleased with this data, said Oleksandr Sanchenko, calling on Ukrainian society to completely abandon the songs of russian artists, which, unfortunately, “are still walking” in the charts.

I held a new meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff today. First and foremost is the front. Commander-in-Chief Zaluzhny, commanders – reports on the situation in the main directions.

There is a significant and much-needed result for Ukraine near Bakhmut – our soldiers liberated Andriivka. The 3rd assault division, all involved forces, headquarters, commander – General Syrsky. Guys, thank you all!
Our active actions continue near Klishchiivka and Kurdiumivka. The 36th separate marine brigade operates strongly near Opytne and Vodiane. Thank you, guys!

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has submitted a draft law on the State Budget for 2024 to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
The Parliament of Ukraine will consider the draft law on the State Budget of Ukraine for the next year in the first reading in the near future.
I urge MPs of all factions and groups to take a constructive approach to the consideration of the most important financial document. Forget about populism and speculation and do not draw up expenditure items that are not supported by revenues.
We must all realize that this budget is a wartime budget. And, accordingly, the main priority is to ensure the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine, as well as our Victory!

❗️ The G20 Summit Declaration is a "soft law" that can lay the groundwork for other binding documents, — the Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Policy and Interparliamentary Cooperation Oleksandr Merezhko:
🔹 The joint declaration contains very important messages, including for the aggressor state, and this definitely has more positive aspects, more advantages for us.
🔹 The issue of russian aggression against Ukraine should be of concern to all countries of the world.
💬 If we look at the war in Ukraine through the prism of international law, such grave crimes as the crime of aggression and genocide that russia is committing against the Ukrainian people are crimes against all states of the world, against the entire world society. The point here is in principle: if international law, world order and global security, including food security, are destroyed, then any country can become a victim, the parliamentarian emphasized.
🇺🇦 The Ukrainian archaeologist, Director General of the National Museum of History of Ukraine Fedir Androshchuk received a high award from the European Association of Archaeologists. This is the largest organization of professional archaeologists in Europe, — the Humanitarian Policy Committee.
💬 The museum team not only rushed to protect the archaeological heritage in the first moments of the attack, helping regional museums to do so, but also, as it became safer, continued to conduct research, open new exhibitions and organize information activities, including monitoring looting.
For his leadership in protecting Ukrainian archaeological heritage during the war, his commitment to raising awareness of the importance of archaeological heritage, and his overall professional and scientific level, the professor was awarded the 2023 Individual Award in the field of archaeological heritage by the European Association of Archaeologists, the organization said.
