Each seedphrase/mnemonic can have many private key which corresponding to each wallet addresses. You need to own seedphrase/private key in order to have an access to your wallet.

Seedphrase/passphrase/mnemonic is a series of English words gives you the access of your wallet. Different seedphrase can generate different addresses, yes. However, English words is uncountable, randomly picking some of the words wishing that you can have an access to someone's wallet is nearly impossible. The probability of the success for such cases is nearly zero.

if you encounter this situation while using Passphrase/Seedphrase/ Mnemonic, try to use Private Key to recover the wallet because one Passphrase will be able to generate many private keys -> multiple wallet addresses.

if they held since mainnet then eth app, 44/60/0 and easiest way is wallet.tomochain.com but can still use MEW etc but a bit more complex as have to change networks etc
