How do you transform yourself from ordinary? You have to do the exact opposite of what everyone else is doing.
When the ordinary person hears the alarm, they think they have more time to sleep.
The person who has the dog in them, anytime the alarm clock is set, they don’t sleep well at night. They are restless out of fear that they are going to miss the alarm, that the power will go off, the phone will die, the time was set to p.m. rather than a.m., etc.
The best way I can explain this is that I have a bulldog and I have never seen a dog eat like she does. She drools all the hell over while I am mixing her food - the anticipation of the exact same meal is never dulled... she buries her face in the bowl so deep it looks as if she is going to suffocate. She can’t consume the food fast enough! From the first day she came home she did this. We called the breeder to make sure that she was ok and she explained that she was used to having to fight for her spot at the bowl amongst the rest of the litter.

We thought she would outgrow this as she is the only dog in the house which means there is no competition for food. 6 years later and she still attacks her bowl like there are 20 puppies fighting for the same food.
The last bulldog my girl had lived to be 13 years old (quite old for a bulldog). Right before she died, she ate her entire meal like nothing was wrong. She walked outside, laid down and died.
If you don’t want to be ordinary, you have to act like every meal you have is the last fucking meal you will ever have! You must have an insatiable desire for more!
