Some $20 million worth of cryptocurrency had been donated in support of Ukraine's resistance to Russian invasion as of Monday morning.

This comes after the country's official Twitter account shared two cryptocurrency wallet addresses on Saturday, through which it would directly receive donations of Bitcoin, Ethereum or Tether.

Ukraine is currently in the grips of armed conflict with Russia, its larger neighbor who invaded the country last week after years of tension, sending forces to advance on the Ukrainian capital Kyiv.

On Monday, United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Michelle Bachelet said at least 102 civilians in Ukraine have been killed with hundreds more injured, though the real figure may be considerably higher.

It's crucial when looking at these structures to see if they are close to a "major" support zone or if they have already made contact with them.

2️⃣ Breakout:
Assuming that the previous conditions on item 1 were fulfilled, now we are in a situation where we can expect a change in direction, and we are interested in developing a setup on the new "expected impulse.

3️⃣ Correction:
After the breakout of a major structure like the daily trend of the last 300 days or more, we want to see a correction! Here corrections will tend to show some proportion to the previous structure the price is coming from.

When it comes to Elliot Wave Theory, we know of two different correction patterns.

On the left you can see the classic correction, which is less common in real market situations. On the other hand, the flat correction (right) occurs more frequently in the market, since modern price action is often characterized by fakeouts.

In this case, a fakeout looks like a wave B making a new high above wave A. In most cases, traders would open a trade here due to a structural break, which then runs against them (bull or bear trap).

It is very important that you learn how to use Fibonacci tools correctly so that you can calculate the wavelength properly. Maybe I'll do a separate educational post on the proper use of those tools in future.
