When Microsoft published Copilot to the Windows desktop at mass-scale I unironically gave it a shot.
First, I poked it with a big stick to determine what it does under the hood (I used ILSpy to reverse engineer it).
Second, I used it as I would any other LLM.
My biggest criticism to Copilot is that it is network based. All messages, responses, data transformation, etc. are stored in the Microsoft cloud. Hence, using Copilot is LAGGY and SLOW. My machine has 32GB of RAM, an NVIDIA 2080, (can't remember the CPU), and a 1TB NVME.
My computer isn't super 1337 compared to newer hardware on my the market, but by all reasonable standards my computer is pretty rock solid. Despite these specs, it is deemed insufficient for Copilot, thus everything is handled on Microsoft's side.
Unrelated note, when I was a teenager my computer had 2GB of RAM and 128gb SATA and I thought technology had peaked. It was surreal.
Anyway
Using Copilot is slow. Ridiculously slow. Attempting to scroll up to review previous messages also invokes web requests, thus ... it is slow... Slopya Sloptella, if you want people to use your product you must
1. Make it not slow as fuck.

Big drama in the information security political ecosystem today.
Shlomo Kramer, dubbed the "Godfather of Israeli cybersecurity" appeared on CNBC today to share his thoughts on Artificial Intelligence and misinformation campaigns.
Kramer, co-founder of CheckPoint, CATO networks, and Imperva, with an estimated net worth of $2,200,000,000, stated bad actors are using artificial intelligence or deceive people on social media.
Mr. Kramer states the United States government must now limit the First Amendment, the right to free speech, in order to protect free speech in the United States. Mr. Kramer states he believes the United States government must monitor every individual on social media, verify who they are as a person, and "take control of what they're saying".
Mr. Kramer went on to state to journalists that social media must be transparent, like a public town square, which would disallow bad actors from abusing anonymity to spread misinformation. Additionally, he asserts the United States government should assign ranking to individuals based on how authentic their posts are.
Mr. Kramer did not explicitly state what is defined as a bad actor, or misinformation, however he continued on to state he believes the Chinese government has made an intelligent decision to control the narrative on social media to stabilize the countries inner core.
Mr. Kramer notes it's difficult to determine what is real and not real on platforms such as TikTok, hence the government must take control.

Yesterday Mrs. Smellington and I decided to feed our baby boy this weird fruit called "chayote". It's supposedly cool, badass, and good for babies because it's high on fiber. It's from Central America.
Pediatricians note to not give children too much of it because it's extremely high in fiber and it can act as a natural stool softener. Well, we gave our boy a bunch of it (in regards to his size, he's just a baby) because he loved it. He ate pretty much the whole fruit. We were so happy we loved it.
It turns out, Pediatricians were indeed correct these fruit do act as natural stool softeners. It turns out, doctors who doctor children do indeed know how to doctor children.
Our baby boy was chillin', started making a weird face and fussing. Mrs. Smellington picked him up and said, "what the? he's wet?".
He exploded feces. It was so much feces it erupted out of his diaper, out of his onesie, and it began erupting out of his pajamas. It defied physics how much feces was leaving his body. We were shocked so much feces could be contained in such a tiny body. It wasn't diarrhea, it was just ... A LOT.
We ran him to his room, began trying to strip his clothes off. He thought it was funny we were hurrying, so he began rolling around in excitement. This resulted in feces all over his legs, down to his toes. It smeared feces all over his tummy and chest.
My wife, who kind of has a sensitive nose, began gagging a little and ran out the room. I continued wrestling with my son. He kept laughing, thinking we were playing, and I tried to remove his clothes. I had feces all over my hands and arms. He began kicking which resulted in feces getting on my chest and a little bit of my beard.
My wife screamed, "get him to the shower now! we need to hose him off". I picked up my son, still covered in feces, and ran to the shower. He was so slippery from the feces I jumped into the shower with him.
I was fully clothed, hands, arms, and chest covered in feces, while we used the shower head to clean off our baby boy. The entire time he was giggling and laughing hysterically. He loves water and the shower. He didn't seem to understand Mommy and Daddy weren't doing a surprise shower for fun.
Oxytocin, the hormone which is released from when you bond with your child, is supposed to be the "love chemical". It supposedly makes you unconditionally love your child. I can attest to this "oxytocin" stuff because if this were literally anyone else I would have LOST MY MIND. Instead I said, "oh my goodness, are you stimky baby boy?"
Don't have kids until you're ready, dawg. It's a war.
