Have a lot of thoughts on BTC and the market at the moment after yesterday's shenanigans
seems like there's a lot of misconceptions and confusion about what caused the dump, Mt Gox, US govt etc. so will record a short video later today to talk through my thoughts

For ALTS I recommend using the *VWAP bands Indicator by Crypto Rife*. I have seen this to be the best values for alts without having to mess around with different aggregated pairings. I use the binance USDT pairing on all of these instead of perps as you have the most history for price action using this pairing.
Settings go as seen in the image.
The way I setup these VWAP charts is to have a two by two grid to show you different values for that asset. Each section has its own VWAP value time as seen in the chart I have sent here. (I use the same for BTC & ETH too).

↳ **BTC M15 - OUTPERFORMERS**
The only charts and pairings of significance that has truly stood out over the past few days has been **INJ & WOO**. Again, with a large dominance growth it is truly difficult to assess whether risk is warranted here or not. But if you're much more of an aggressive trader or speculator, you would typically want to be playing the only pairings that have shown significant strength/volume in comparison to the rest. Of course we could pay attention to EGLD, but this has been less on my radar and has been less talked about. The primary goal here is really just to locate volatility and where people are trading. Those are areas we can look to exploit.
Keep it simple, keep risk relatively tight here. You do not want to be on the receiving end of a dominance growth, as I am sure it will spook plenty of participants. The only upside to speculating here is that a drop in dominance *could* signal strength into secondary pairings. These performers currently look to be **INJ** and **WOO**. For trading and volume purposes, nothing else. I am not aware of any catalysts or narratives.

For some reason the values sometimes change when you change the timeframe of the chart you are looking at so I recommend these candles below.
Yearly chart - Use Daily candles for values
Quarterly chart - Use H4 candles for values
Monthly chart - Use H4/H2 candles for values
Weekly chart - Use M30/H1 candles for values.

Been getting a lot of questions about VWAP bands lately. You see me and JD using these values a lot to help with bias and understand where price may want to move if it clears (x) level.
Below I will give you the best indicators to use and the meaning behind some of the abbreviations you see, hopefully it makes things clearer for you.
d - developing
p - previous/prior
w - weekly
m - monthly
qt - quaterly
y - yearly
Example) dQT VWAP = developing quarTerly VWAP.
Example) pmVAH = previous monthly Value area high.
The first indicator is the one you should use for BTC & ETH VWAP. It is an aggregated VWAP so takes data from multiple exchanges of choice.

The best way to use this is on the BTCUSD (Coinbase pair chart)/ ETHUSD (Coinbase pair chart) and use the exact settings I have given in the images below.
(currently some small issues with the previous values for monthly and above so I have messaged him asking if he can fix them)

Definitley seeing more strength in BTC than ETH/ALTS here.
Especially ETH. BTC has reclaimed Monday Higher whereas ETH attempted to but deviated back below.
For ETH to move higher it needs to reclaim 1925 area. The developing monthly VWAP and trade back above the developing weekly VAH at 1895 area.
It continued to hold the 2022VWAP yesterday during the sell off which is a good sign and tested the pmVAH which gave a strong reaction. For now I dont have much interest in an ETH long.
