I want to complete a 1 BTC join within 3 hours. How should I configure it?

Maybe, 30 minutes is pretty reasonable since that's how often zkSNACKs created a coinjoin on average. I felt that 10 minutes was far too short even with zkSNACKs getting 100+ new BTC coinjoining per day.

Keep in mind that the privacy gains from creating a larger round is more than just linear. 20 inputs is more than just twice as good as 10 inputs, and 40 inputs is more than just twice as good as 20 inputs.

Waiting for new liquidity is fundamentally unavoidable so I don't think that's a good idea. If too many small rounds execute quickly, then users will mostly be mixing with the same people over and over and not gaining any "real" privacy.

Your progress depends on the anonymity score target you set and the size of the coinjoin round. If you've remixed several times, you can spend your coins privately as long as you don't merge too many of them together.
