Yes, they could freeze! Are they are less interested in freezing it or not than CEXes... you have any ideas?
Читать полностью…Probably not on mempool.space but the custodial lightning could also freeze your coins
Читать полностью…Also encourage P2P trade, use it as money it’s the best way, normalize using it, the more the better. So many people think of OMG I need to sell then go through an exchange. Why not finding business, restaurants, stores in your area that accept it
Читать полностью…Say! Could a better solution be to srnd it to a custodial lightning wallet first and THEN to CEX?
Читать полностью…Some people bypassed this by sending it to themselves a few times like 5 hops or so. It makes impractical to analyze the chain backward for every TX, several hop backs.
Читать полностью…Under most conditions, yes, but you need to be aware of guessing tactics people would use to trace your coins like timing analysis and amount analysis.
Читать полностью…Not anymore. The only case when it does is if there's a whale with a much larger input than the rest of the coinjoin round. In that case, the whale has to continue remixing. For example, here's a 600 BTC input entering a coinjoin - https://mempool.space/address/bc1q0057mqa8agyzjw6k5wz3dprf8yzfwq4aua00tc
It took 4 coinjoin transactions to completely split into private outputs:
600 BTC in, 558 BTC out: https://mempool.space/tx/7bf4cb6df85ea2f6706eed9e937b6a14ffb4ab8223d1f6bad6ba91af93523676
558 BTC in, 214 BTC out: https://mempool.space/tx/3a714beec26b254d4e0b63257993bc28679531a2e802f9f687c3219f5f5447b7
214 BTC in, 160 BTC out: https://mempool.space/tx/dee52064a3d894b830581aa0034e3304e0a3bf4fb877f72747a507e97a25477b
160 BTC in, no obvious change output: https://mempool.space/tx/fe03eed1af4dd52164306327572a0afcf62099d9d19cb9062e209386f1431157
I just had a coinjoin that set a new personal record for number of outputs (374): https://mempool.space/tx/f97efa65be8b4be4d410577c5726c32e41127f5ac7ca7a5da4d55bce8f57f10c
Читать полностью…What time of day do coinjoin have the most participants?
I would like to participate in coinjoin during the time when everyone is doing coinjooin.
russia, china, venezuela, (switzerland), monaco, liechtenstein
russia especially for cybercrime if russia itself is not part of the target group, and if western countries are targets it's most likely that the russian gov will support it
have you ever heard of extradition treaties? and if you do something that is illegal in america, it is very likely that your local law enforcement will be looking for you, too.
Читать полностью…another interesting route is monero (btc -> swap to monero -> exchange that supports monero)
Читать полностью…If I do CJ coin on native btc -> custodial lightning -> back to native btc... is the chain visible on mempool.space ?
Читать полностью…if using lightning I would think the best would be through lightning if exchange supports it natively

The actual conjoin protocol doesn't produce anymore a "not private" coin as it was in the first protocol?
Читать полностью…It's roughly steady throughout the day, but if you want to only participate in the absolute biggest rounds, try setting your "Coinjoin Time Preference" setting to something slower than hours (like days/weeks/months). The lowest fee rounds have the most participants, while higher fee rounds are skipped more often.
