Yes, you won't be able to view confirmations at the moment. You can check the status of your transaction on a block explorer like mempool.space (use Tor browser for extra privacy when looking up your transactions).

Did you fully restart the app after making the edit? By default, Wasabi runs in the background when you click the "X" button, so you have to kill it from your system tray.

The backend server is currently down, sorry. The maintainers are working on reviving it, but if you need to use your wallet immediately then you can edit the backend URI in the advanced settings.

https://api.opencoordinator.org/ would probably work? https://coinjoin.kruw.io/ would normally also work, but I updated my backend yesterday which reset all the filters that were already built, so it won't be ready to serve clients for another day or so.

@xmr_trader is correct that you can switch to a different backend so your wallet will still synchronize even if wasabiwallet.io is down:
