Turns out I do miss a few thousand bucks... Here my findings:

- [ ] !!! Wallets in Sparrow after connecting correctly
- For reference: I hope to find the full amount I had on Samourai before importing to Wasabi last May. In Wasabi, I had about 75% of what was in Samourai.
- Below: attempts to import my wallet based on either Samourai or Wasabi compatibility.
- wallets with no passphrase used: no money (obviously)
- ex-wasabi taproot: 0 btc/transactions!
- m/86'/0'/0'
- BIP39
- ...and yet in the wasabi wallet app itself I can see and send transactions... Any other way to import that wallet to Sparrow?
- ex-samourai native segwit
- much smaller amount (50%) than in the wasabi app (75%)
- m/84'/0'/0'
- 30 transactions (2021-05 to 2024-10)
- ex-samourai with imported Samourai backup
- same amount as above (50%)
- m/84'/0'/0'
- 30 transactions
- (Should I try other old Samourai backups as well?)
- ex-samourai nested segwit
- 22 transactions
- ex-samourai legacy
- 3 transactions
- "brandnew" test wallet:
- 2 small test amounts from wasabi app arrived there (sparrow) - so I am able to send btc from wasabi... Phew\...
- In the Wasabi app, there are 30 transactions and 75% of the original amount in Samourai.
- Until a few days ago when I opened the Samourai app on my phone, it first showed the full amount (the 100% I am hoping to find), but just for a few seconds. After that, 0 BTC. The transaction list was there as well. Then I tested the passphrase by entering the wrong pin 3 times in purpose. After that it looked like a new empty wallet. No trace of any transactions or another balance, just 0 all the way.

The "problem" is at sparrow side. Check if you're connected/synced, or ask for help at Sparrow chat

Just wait for the confirmation. If you sent with Wasabi you can always bump the tx later, if the amount is big enough

Yes I suspected that Taproot was playing a role but am not an expert.

Probably because your coinjoin output(s) was taproot, that makes the balance "unavailable to other wallets".

Ok that ERROR, is not related to not being able to send. A log message right after you have the issue should be it, a warning or info related to sending.
No need to send a txid, you can leave any sensitive info out

Samourai uses non-standard derivation paths. So balances not matching is probably because of that. Some people wrote guides how to recover samourai funds after their server got shut down, maybe try to find one of those.

Hi folks. I imported my Samourai wallet seed phrase to Wasabi wallet in May. Wasabi showed 25% less than the total balance in Samourai. I tried a number of things and forums but didn't get far.

After I did a coinjoin of my Wasabi wallet, Samourai app showed a 0 balance. Now I see that I cannot even send 5000 Sats from Wasabi to a new test wallet (Sparrow).

I could share more details if needed. Please help, as this is about a significant amount.

I must be the stupidest Bitcoiner in the entire universe. Sparrow was simply not connected to the network. Give me a sec to analyze what all my different import attempts in Sparrow are showing now. (It turns out I didn't lose as many thousands of dollars I feared. Now I am not sure I didn't lose anything but I will check.)

I tried recovering the Samourai wallet, importing it in different ways in Sparrow wallet but it always showed 0 balance and no transactions.

The seed phrase must be correct, I once restored Samourai wallet itself with that same sheet of paper years ago. The passphrase was in my password manager. (Now I have a vague memory that I wanted to get rid of the passphrase but am not sure it's even possible.)

So I can't see in what other ways I should recover the Samourai wallet. I used the default derivation path in Sparrow when importing: m/84'/0'/0'/0/0, with native segwit. The one in the Samourai official doc was m/44'|49'|84'/0'/0'.

I suggest to first figure out how to recover you samourai funds. Then create a new wallet in Wasabi and use that, if you want to use Wasabi. Because Wasabi is "complex"/not a standard wallet by itself, importing a different kind of wallet is not recommended/supported. And you should assume your samourai xpub to be compromised, so you'd want a new one (new wallet)

AI says "CLOCK_JUMPED" might mean that there was a problem with the system clock that could have prevented a transaction, in theory. But right now the time is correct.

I tried recovering the seed phrase in several ways in Sparrow but it shows no transaction history and a 0 balance. I suspect something happened when doing coinjoin in Wasabi that makes the balance unavailable to other wallets, but I have no technical knowledge of how Bitcoin works.

I see this in the logs:

2024-10-14 10:23:41.201 [19] ERROR TorMonitor.MonitorEventsAsync (141) Tor circuit failed to be established: CLOCK_JUMPED.

The transaction was right after that but there are no errors or anomalies in the logs about that transaction (according to an AI chatbot I showed my logs to).

Tell me if you need to see more logs or the transaction ID, and if it is safe to share here.

Transaction broadcasting was redesigned some in the last version, but more improvements are being made. I experienced a failed send due to a "mempool min fee not met" error that I was able to get around by increasing the fee of my payment by 1 sat/vbyte: https://github.com/WalletWasabi/WalletWasabi/issues/13442
