Though they are relatively small compared to the full blockchain, tne necessary blocks and filters are still a 2GB+ space if I remember correctly.

Читать полностью…If B, for example, sends to a KYC-compliant exchange, wouldn't there be an issue with anonymity if the exchange traces A through B?
Читать полностью…This isn't generally considered a problem (as long as you don't create a change output from transaction A that you use as an input in transaction B).
Читать полностью…Both Ginger and Wasabi use a relatively huge amount of storage space and cpu power as there is no server that knows your public keys and needs to keep and maintain at least the so called filters from the blockchain.

The fundamental change is that they are a for-profit company, with the integration of their own coordinator, which is not compatible with Wasabi because they usually charge a fee for users to join their rounds, which is not allowed by Wasabi (you can read the reason here: https://blog.wasabiwallet.io/killing-coordination-fee/. Their coordinator also rejects coins that have a low score according to chain analysis companies. They also have some optimizations to improve coinjoins in a low liquidity environment, as the integration of the coinjoin engine in Wasabi has been thought for higher liquidity than what they have.
Wasabi is on the other hand a completely FOSS software, that aims at being as open and resilient as possible and safe.
I'd say they're a niche product. They publish here as this is a community group, and they are part of the community and Wasabi's ecosystem.
In general both wallets benefit the one to the other. For example, I am currently implementing translations in Wasabi now that they made 95% of the job for me.
The speed up tx tool is not available for CJ. You can do manual CPFP or use an external tool like mempoolspace accelerator

Don't think so every bitcoin transactions is recorded and can trace back to you by converting to XMR(more private than Bitcoin ) it anonymize you
Читать полностью…An exchange assuming that deposit B belongs to the same person as transaction A would end up counting many false positives. You can't reliably link this sort of activity together without additional clues.
Читать полностью…There's still a risk that someone will simply guess that two payments that spend outputs of the same coinjoin round(s) belong to the same person, but this is just guessing, not proving.
Читать полностью…If I have a coinjoined bitcoin, and I split it up and send a certain amount of A to someone, and then send B to someone else without coinjoining it again, is A's anonymity at risk?
