The title of the article is incorrect: It's not a protocol vulnerability, it was a bug in the clients implementing the protocol. This was fixed in Wasabi v2.3.0.0

Talking about the other guy that was mentioning the RPC. Kruw is not a scammer. If you enable Tor in Wasabi but for some reasons, usually because Tor is already launched and the process is owned by another user, then the app cannot connect to the instance and will crash

If you dont have the crash reported, you can see the crash reason in your log file: ~/.walletwasabi/client/Logs.txt

There's a common crash message that says "No attempt to connect to Tor was successful". If you see this, then manually kill Tor from your computer's activity monitor and try launching Wasabi again.
