Coordinators can still collect some money from the process since clients aren't able to fully split their coins into even sized outputs. So if each participant leaves behind a few hundred sats, the coordinator can add those up and claim them. https://liquisabi.com/ tracks how much coordinators earn from this.

Still, I ran a coordinator before I was able to collect any sats from it, I think it's critically important for Bitcoin to be private and I encourage other people to run coordinators as well.

Could just wait, or restart Wasabi.
Unless the backend is offline, then that won't help ofc. Then one should connect to different backend.

I think I understand now "Pay to a specific bitcoin address in a coinjoin." So basically if I want to send some sats to someone, and I want it to be anonymous, I can send it to them as part of a coinjoin, so they won't know which part came from me? And they won't know where my change went?
