I answered that question for you yesterday on Reddit.
Читать полностью…Use a different coordinator with stronger blacklisting strategy or use your coins in a service that doesn't have this blacklisting strategy. You were already replied to on Reddit
Читать полностью…I recently tried spending some BTC that has been conjoined using a coordinator and the funds were frozen because “38% are linked to funds associated with North Korean hacks”.
This seems problematic going forward if coins are no longer usable because they have been mixed with UTXOs associated with illicit activities.
Any ideas on how one could still maintain privacy and reduce the risk of being mixed in this way?
Guys, why can't download an app from site for macos?

Can you still coinjoin with wasabi, or did that end when the samourai guys got arrested ?

Читать полностью…I know, but I want one. Would Bitcoin Core do the job?
Читать полностью…Hello, just installed Wasabi 2.6.0. Any recommendations on which node to run locally that will work well with Wasabi in Debian? Thank you
Читать полностью…Is anyone aware if they get triggered if UTXO is directly from coinjon, on which case hopping to a new UTXO before sending to exchange would circumvent the issue, or do they do deeper analysis of the chain for each deposit?
I'm thinking even if it is a deep analysis, thatn sooner or later all coins will be touching the "tainted coin join coins"
Unfortunately, lawmakers and the general industry refuse to see that Coinjoin is a matter of life and death when using Bitcoin, as without any system of the kind you reveal all the time to everyone your full wealth each time you spend some funds. Therefore they prefer to treat coinjoin users as potential bad actors by default, without any consideration to risks involved by NOT using Coinjoin

- In Wasabi, go in Settings -> Enable "Connect to Bitcoin Node RPC" -> Enter your node's infos

I’m the one who started Wasabi back in the day.
Figured a few of you might be curious what I’m doing now.
I’ve been quietly building something new: the Longevity World Cup — a new sport where people compete by reversing their biological age.
No monetization, no pitch — just sharing in case that resonates:

The problem with Bitcoin Core is that if you want to download the complete blockchain it will ocuupy around 500GB. Would a pruned node work also? Or any other equivalent that will take less space?
Читать полностью…Each cryptocurrency exchange has its own unique AML analysis technologies. They analyze the inputs and outputs at a depth of at least 5 transactions (before/after).
From the point of view of common sense, you are "not responsible" for the actions of the previous (or next) counterparty 😁

Wasabi is a client for WabiSabi coinjoin, it cannot be blocked or removed (as you would simply no update).
There is no more coordinator by default, but you are free to use any third party's service.
See publicly advertised ones here: https://docs.wasabiwallet.io/FAQ/FAQ-UseWasabi.html#how-do-i-find-a-coordinator
Transferred from wasabi to kraken and they suspended my account 😖

We will release a stabilisation release soon and will check to include a fix for this problem.
In the meanwhile, you can run Wasabi on your own RegTest node:
- In your bitcoin.conf file, add blockfilterindex=1
- In Wasabi, go in Settings -> Enable "Connect to Bitcoin Node RPC" -> Enter your node's infos
It will work without backend 🙂
