That's just an easy trick of course you should watch your Node!

You can check your Node if it makes invoke txs from the explorer.

When you see there, extendMainChain() means your Nodes generated a Unit0 block just now. And then you will see appendBlock() which means your Node generating L2 blocks and getting rewards for them.
