SEBI Approves NSDL IPO
The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has approved the initial public offering (IPO) of National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL).
IPO Details
- Pure offer for sale (OFS) of 57.3 million shares by NSDL's six shareholders:
- IDBI Bank: 22.2 million shares
- NSE: 18 million shares
- Union Bank of India: 5.62 million shares
- State Bank of India: 4 million shares
- Administrator of the Specified Undertaking of the Unit Trust of India (SUUTI): 3.4 million shares
- HDFC Bank: 2% stake (currently holds 8.95% stake)
