One of the key changes in the new income tax bill is the *removal of exemptions*. While this might seem like a negative change, it's actually designed to simplify the tax system and reduce tax evasion. The government is encouraging taxpayers to switch to the new tax regime, which offers lower tax rates and a simpler tax system.
So, who will benefit the most from the new tax bill? *Salaried individuals* with incomes up to *Rs 12 lakh* will be the biggest beneficiaries, as they'll pay little to no income tax. *Middle-class taxpayers* will also benefit, as they'll have more money to spend and invest. And, *high-salary earners* will benefit from the reduced tax rates, although they might not see as much of a reduction in their tax liability.
Overall, the New Income Tax Bill is a welcome change, and it's going to make the tax system more taxpayer-friendly.
