Already fixed it. It happened last week and I just finished busting my ass putting two tubes in. I brought a tire to the mower spot to see if they had tubes to fit. They wanted $26 for each tube. Asked him how much installed, he said $92 per tire. I told him to eat a dick. Bought two tubes on Amazon for $11 each tube.

They're tubeless, and after dunking both in water, I found out somehow, I must have run over some shit that managed to poke a hole in the sidewall of both tires one had a hole on the outer sidewall, and the other had a hole on the inner sidewall.

James Cameron is the mind behind the movie The Terminator. He says what’s taking place with AI is scarier than his movie script
“AGI will not emerge from a government funded program. It will emerge from one of the tech giants currently funding this multi-billion dollar research, so then you'll be living in a world that you didn't agree to, didn't vote for that you are co-inhabiting with a super intelligent alien species that answers to the goals and rules of a corporation.
An entity which has access to the comms beliefs, everything you ever said, and the whereabouts of every person in the country via your personal data.
Surveillance capitalism can toggle pretty quickly into digital totalitarianism. At best, these tech giants become the self-appointed arbiters of human good, which is the fox guarding the hen house. They would never, ever think of using that power against us and strip mining us for our last drop of cash.
That's a scarier scenario than what I presented in the Terminator 40 years ago. If for no other reason, then it's no longer science fiction.”

Ouch. That is a rough day in the yard. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but side-wall punctures on tubeless tires are a completely different beast than a hole in the tread.
Since the sidewall is constantly flexing and under pressure, standard plugs or "slime" sealants almost never hold up for long. Here is the reality of your situation and how to handle it.
---
## 1. The "Correct" Fix: Replacement
If the punctures are actual tears or large holes, replacement is the only safe and permanent solution. Zero-turn tires are under significant torque; a blown sidewall while you're on a slope or making a sharp turn can cause the rim to dig in and potentially flip the mower or damage the transmission.
## 2. The "I need to finish this lawn" Fix: Tubes
If the tires still have plenty of tread and you don't want to buy two new ones, you can install inner tubes.
* The Pro: It bypasses the hole in the sidewall entirely. The tube holds the air, and the tire carcass just provides the structure.
* The Con: It's a workout to break the bead and get a tube inside a stiff zero-turn tire. You’ll also need to make sure the object that caused the flat isn't still embedded in the rubber, or it will just pop the new tube.
## 3. The "Emergency Only" Fix: Plugs
You *can* try a standard rope plug kit, but keep these caveats in mind:
* Safety: Only do this on flat ground. Never trust a sidewall plug on an incline.
* Success Rate: Low. Because the sidewall flexes every time the tire rotates, the plug will likely wiggle loose or start leaking within a few hours of use.
---
### Quick Assessment Table
| Method | Durability | Effort | Cost |
| :--- | :--- | :--- | :--- |
| New Tire | Permanent | Moderate | High |
| Inner Tube | Reliable | High | Low |
| Plug Kit | Temporary | Low | Very Low |
Pro Tip: If you decide to go the "New Tire" route, check if your rims are a standard size. Sometimes buying a pre-mounted tire and wheel assembly is actually cheaper (and much faster) than paying a shop to mount new rubber on your old crusty rims.
How big are the gashes—are we talking tiny pinpricks or "I can see the inside of the tire" holes?
Anyone here ever been lucky enough to get two flats at the same fuckin time on a zero turn?
