Its a lot of backend shit. That's the meat of the app. The front end and gui is easy. There's no need for major bells and whistles. I'm definitely gonna make it all appealing, but the backend is where it all gotta happen.

Im through the heavy lifting portion, so i have been keeping under the alloted tokens. But if you choose the API option, and you are reckless, youll end up with a $1k bill and wont even see it coming. Stay away from that API shit with Claude. You can set daily and monthly limits, but you fuck around and burn through it in a day or two and wont have shit built. 😂😂😂

How much work can you get done for the $25 plan? The claude pro $20 plan will shut you down if you go ham. It does 5 hour sessions. So if you crank through a certain amount of tokens inside of the 5 hours, itll cut off until the next session.
I read up on Kimi, and watched some review videos of kimi, and a lot of people say its as good as claude sonnet for a fraction of the price. You can basically run constant back and forth all day and itll be less than $15 for the month. The only issue is, if you want the rock bottom price point, you gotta convert money to yuan, and send to your wechat. Then you pay through your wechat. Theres a workaround if you use open router. You can pay direct with a credit card, but they rob you and you pay 2.5x the price you would pay if you pay via wechat

Im basically using Claude, Gemma4, Linux on a shitty $500 box i bought. I say shitty, but the specs actually put it right up there with a mid range mac mini. Its 32g of ram, 1TB storage, and its pretty fast. Im using that, and my MacBook. Going back and forth between Gemma and Claude, but im heavy on claude ATM.
I'm not a coder, but I learned enough over the years that I was able to find my way through one problem that claude kept fuckin up with. I wont say it was claudes fault. Im sure I just couldn't tell the fucker what I needed in a way that it would give me what I was looking for.
Plus, sometimes claude gives instructions that arent necessarily step by step, so I can maneuver through some of that shit too without wasting a lot of time, and burning more tokens

Im tryna build a full fledged business so I registered a domain name and everything. But the website is just gonna be a landing page with a summary and description of the services. It'll link to googleplay and app store. If I get feedback showing a demand for a fully functioning website, I'll build one. Websites are easy. I've been doing that shit for over 20 years. But nowadays, even old people wanna do as much as they can on their phones, so app it is.
