Watch: Officials give update after apparent 'attempted assassination' near Trump's Florida golf club.
The FBI is investigating what it called an "attempted assassination" of former President Donald Trump after Secret Service agents fired at a man with an AK-47 on or near Trump's Florida golf course on Sunday.
UPDATE: Police say this is the gunman’s AK-47 along the fence line of the Trump golf course.

An AK-47 was discovered in the bushes, per local law enforcement. The Trump campaign has released a statement confirming former President Trump is safe. A suspect has reportedly been apprehended.

JUST IN: Per @LucasFoxNews: the suspect never opened fire, but the US Secret Service saw a weapon displayed and opened fire on the suspect who dropped the weapon and ran. Suspect is now in custody in Martin County, FL, one county north of Palm Beach.

Los Angeles: Miguel Angel Aguilar, an LA fitness influencer and personal trainer, is shot in the face after being followed home by a group of men with guns Friday afternoon.
The group of men approached Aguilar after he got out of his car. It appears the thieves targeted Aguilar's Rolex watch.
It's been more than two years since LAPD issued a warning suggesting residents and tourists should not wear jewelry of any kind or display expensive watches and purses when out-and-about in Los Angeles.
