The program to audit unused/unneeded credit cards has been expanded to 30 agencies. After 7 weeks, ~470k cards have been de-activated.
As a reminder, at the start of the audit, there were ~4.6M active cards/accounts, so still more work to do.

Four men in dark hoodies smashed glass counters and stole jewelry from a shop at Westfield Fashion Square Mall in Sherman Oaks.
The robbers injured one man and ransacked the store before fleeing in a gray/silver Audi A6 with yellow-covered license plates. One man was pepper-sprayed during the incident and was transported to the hospital. LAPD is actively investigating the case.

JUST IN: Guilty! Woman hired lover to kill her husband, a well-know L.A. hairdresser.
The wife of a prominent L.A. hairdresser was found guilty of murder and conspiracy for masterminding the killing of her husband at the home they shared with their two daughters in Woodland Hills.
Fabio Sementilli was stabbed to death in the backyard of his Woodland Hills home in 2017.
The killing initially was thought to be a home invasion gone wrong, but investigators soon zeroed in on Fabio's wife, Monica Sementilli, and her lover, Robert Baker, a convicted sex offender and former porn star.
