This left Trump's detail shorthanded according to two sources within the Secret Service community. There were also many supplemental agents from different field offices (not Trump's regular detail) providing security at the rally because Trump's regular detail has been overworked (some working 7 days straight), and only two counter-snipers.
Who made the decision to divert the resources to Jill Biden's event?
How, with a nearly $3.3 billion budget, is manpower for a leading presidential candidate a problem?

So true. About an hour and a half after the shooting, I asked some family members if they had heard about the assassination attempt, and one replied flatly, "That didn't happen."
When I asked why they would say that, they said they had been in the car for 2 hours listening to NPR, and they never reported it. Not one mention during that time.
When others responded and confirmed the video footage, their response was "too bad they missed."
I'm still so f*cking disgusted.

Another eye witness says that he told law officers there was a man on the roof climbing between multiple rooftops, and they did absolutely nothing to stop him until it was too late!
