An angry Rudy Giuliani lashed out in court Tuesday at the judge presiding over the collection proceeding for the $146 million defamation judgment against him — and complained he's having a hard time making ends meet.

Speaking after U.S. District Judge Lewis Liman said the former personal lawyer to Donald Trump had not been complying with court orders to surrender his assets, Giuliani snapped: “The implications you are making against me are wrong. I have no car, no credit card, no cash, everything I have is tied up. They have put stop orders on my business accounts, and I can’t pay my bills.”

The judge said Giuliani did not appear to be indigent and warned him against any further outbursts.

The hearing in federal court in New York was held in part in response to allegations from attorneys for Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss, the former Georgia election workers Giuliani defamed while challenging the 2020 election results in the state. The lawyers for Freeman and Moss have said that Giuliani, a former federal prosecutor, has not complied with court orders to turn over his assets to the pair.

👀The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has suffered a major setback after the High Court on Monday suspended its privileges and immunities under the Privileges and Immunities Act, which had been granted by the government.

The
foundation, renowned for its global initiatives in health, education, and poverty alleviation, had enjoyed legal protections and benefits typically afforded to recognised non-governmental organisations.

Justice Bahati Mwamuye of the Milimani High Court ruled that the privileges conferred through Legal Notice No. 157, dated October 4, 2024, would remain suspended pending the hearing and determination of the case filed by the Law Society of Kenya (LSK).

The legal notice, signed by Foreign and Diaspora Affairs Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi on September 19, 2024, granted the foundation exemptions typically reserved for diplomatic missions and international organizations.

"Pending the inter partes hearing and determination of the application, a conservatory order is hereby issued suspending the Privileges and Immunities (Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation) Order, 2024, as notified in Legal Notice No. 157," Justice Mwamuye ordered.

JUST IN: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Tuesday he was recommending his Cabinet approve a ceasefire with Lebanon's Hezbollah but would "respond forcefully" to violations by the poweful Iran-backed militia.

"The ceasefire allows us to focus on the Iranian threat," Netanyahu said in a televised address. "We will complete the elimination of Hamas, the return of all the hostages and the return of the residents of the north."

The exact terms of a deal were not released.

Earlier, a high ranking intelligence official in Israel who was briefed on the ceasefire terms, told NBC News that Israel forces would withdraw from Lebanon over 60 days under the deal being discussed.

NATO Revives Talk Of Sending European Troops To Ukraine, Warns Biz Leaders To Prepare For "Wartime Scenario"

It's been no secret that in Ukraine there will be escalation before any potential ceasefire deal is worked out. The Biden administration is scrambling to try and build Kiev's leverage on the battlefield prior to the Trump administration taking office. This includes the huge provocation of greenlighting long-range missile strikes on Russian territory.

France followed this weekend by approving Ukraine's use of French long-range missiles against Russia, specifically the Scalp missiles. French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot declared that this move is in the "logic of self-defense".

The top French diplomat continued, "We will support Ukraine as intensely and as long as necessary. Why? Because it is our security that is at stake. Each time the Russian army progresses by one square kilometer, the threat gets one square kilometer closer to Europe."

BBC interviewer Laura Kuenssberg questioned Barrot on if that could even mean sending French troops into the war. He responded: "We do not discard any option."

Would-be Trump assassin Ryan Routh sends letter from jail to Politico writer to 'demand peace' in Middle East

Ryan Routh, the second alleged would-be assassin of now-President-elect Donald Trump, wrote a letter to Politico in which he demanded "peace" in the Middle East and decried the two-party system.

Routh, who has been held in a Miano federal detention center since mid-September, wrote in the four-page letter to Politico writer Ankush Khardori, "We must demand that Israel stop their attacks and demand that all parties come to the table and find common ground," adding that Biden and the Secretary of State Antony Blinken needed to meet up with "the new president of Iran and Hamas, Hezbollah and [the Houthis for] as long as it takes.”

“My fellowmen, please demand peace," the man charged with attempting to kill Trump when he was golfing in West Palm Beach Florida wrote in the letter.

Routh had written on the top line of the return address, "Trump Alleged Shooter" and reportedly sent a similar letter to the Palm Beach Post as well as Politico. The handwriting was very similar to the letter reportedly written before the assassination attempt that the Department of Justice said was penned by Routh.

The MSNBC panic about Kash Patel is absolutely delicious:

“He could do a lot of damage and wield a lot of power”

“The personification of MAGA rage about the Justice Department and the FBI”

“Patel has been saying the Deep State corrupted the FBI to go after Trump and he’s gonna mete out his revenge”

“He could do equal damage at the CIA where he’s also waged war on the Intelligence Community”

“He has sworn vengeance against those in the Department of Justice. He’s also suggested members of the media by name”

Every single one of these things only makes me want Kash even more. He will deliver justice to the traitors in our government.

NBC: A trove of leaked audio recordings from late 2022 reveal high-ranking members of Brazil's army discussing efforts to pressure then-President Jair Bolsonaro to carry out a coup and remain in power.

The
53 audios, obtained by the Federal Police and accessed by The Associated Press on Monday, provide a rare chance to hear military members expressing in their own voices their desire to keep leftist Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva from taking office.

Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes, who oversees the police’s sprawling investigation, quoted some of those audios in his ruling last week ordering the arrest of five people for plotting the assassination of then-President-elect Lula in 2022 and then attempting to oust him from power on Jan. 8, 2023, when Bolsonaro supporters destroyed government buildings in the capital Brasilia.

Audios from one former army officer — who was not among those de Moraes ordered arrested last week — are particularly supportive of a coup, and weren’t referenced in de Moraes’ order.

MSNBC was stunned to learn that a non-profit founded by its longtime host Al Sharpton received half a million dollars from Kamala Harris' campaign just before he interviewed her. (🙄Sure they were)

The donations just before Sharpton's conversation with Harris have brought up questions about the news outlet's credibility.

National Action Network, a civil rights non-profit that was started by Sharpton in 1991, received $500,000 from the Harris campaign just weeks before the MSNBC host conducted a highly-anticipated sit-down with the Democrat.

Campaign finance records from the 60-year-old's campaign reveal that two separate payments went to National Action Network.

One payment for $250,000 was sent to the non-profit on September 5 and another for the same amount was sent on October 1.

The soft-ball interview with Sharpton occurred just weeks after the second payment on October 20.

🤣🔥MSM starts using the term "kayfabe":

Linda McMahon should ignore the media’s kayfabe attacks

The coverage of Trump’s secretary of education nominee, Linda McMahon, is yet another case study in why the legacy media has lost all credibility.

A principle of responsible journalism is to get both sides of the story. Well, we suppose the New York Times technically managed that. In its article on McMahon’s nomination, they did interview one Republican alongside five Democrats.

The74, an education-focused publication, couldn’t even manage that much. In its McMahon story, the token “conservative” was a fierce critic of Betsy DeVos, Trump’s first secretary of education and a self-described “Never Trumper,” who has publicly renounced his Republican affiliation. The74 also labeled the America First Policy Institute, which McMahon leads, as a “far-right” think tank. It’s “far-right” because, The74 noted, it supports curriculum transparency (a policy that enjoys 84% public approval, for what it’s worth).

The Washington Post put three reporters on what it apparently thinks should be a scandal. You see, McMahon earned a teaching certificate while pursuing her college bachelor’s degree. About 40 years later, back in 2009, she filled out a questionnaire by noting that she had a B.A. in teaching rather than a teaching credential and a B.A. in French. When this was pointed out, she corrected the record.

That was the “scandal.” No kidding. Less than 24 hours after McMahon was nominated, the Post featured this prominently on its site.

...The question is how to move forward. The media has already signaled that it will, in WWE parlance, portray McMahon as a “heel” no matter what she does. Citizens should keep open eyes, of course, but should also treat media narratives with the skepticism they’ve earned.

As for McMahon, we suspect that she already knew the media would treat her like the devil for the next four years, regardless of what she says or does. And that, in turn, should empower her to adopt a devil-may-care attitude when it comes to what the press has to say.

💥President Trump is considering giving the likes of Joe Rogan and Megyn Kelly a seat in the White House press briefing room instead of mainstream media journalists in a plot that will 'blow up some heads'.

The
stunning plan was revealed by the president-elect's eldest son Donald Trump Jr. on a recent episode of his podcast 'Triggered with Donald Trump Jr.'

Speaking to his co-host Michael Knowles, Jr. admitted that the incoming White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt may rework the briefing room seating arrangement to make way for Trump's new podcast 'bro' buddies.

'I wonder now, as your father is assembling his team, as maybe Karoline Leavitt is looking at the new press briefing room chart, maybe it's time to reorder that chart and maybe take away some people's seats,' Knowles inquired.

The future president's son quickly shot back: 'We're gonna break some news here.'

'I literally had this conversation with—I was flying back, I was on the plane with my father, I think it was coming back from the SpaceX launch with Elon [Musk] last week,' Jr. said.

'And we were talking about the podcast world and some of our friends and Rogan and guys like you.'

Then the 46-year-old Trump revealed the podcaster plan was met with great enthusiasm, 'That's a great idea, Don.'

✍️Ex-CBS News reporter accuses network of ‘defying’ orders from Shari Redstone, CBS CEO to probe Hunter Biden laptop scandal

Fired CBS News reporter Catherine Herridge accused her former editors of “defying orders” to probe into Hunter Biden’s laptop from their own bosses at Tiffany Network — namely, the media heiress Shari Redstone and CBS CEO George Cheeks.

Herridge posted an explosive video on X Tuesday which revealed that Cheeks told her on “multiple” times that he wanted her to investigate the Hunter Biden laptop scandal — a directive that came directly from Redstone, the controlling shareholder of CBS parent Paramount Global, who pressed that it was “high priority.”

“George Cheeks said to me on multiple occasions that this was a story of the highest priority for the network and that it was a high priority for his boss, Shari Redstone. So I took on that assignment and I did it to the best of my ability,” she said.

But the journalist said there was pushback inside the left-leaning network over her probe into the laptop of the president’s son, and if its contents revealed corruption by President Biden.

“There were corners of support in the company for it and there were corners of support who understood the value of investigating the Hunter Biden story, but there were some elements within CBS News that were just resistant to it,” Herridge said.

The top lawyer on Donald Trump’s transition team investigated a longtime adviser to the president-elect over allegations he used his proximity to Trump to score payments from those seeking roles or influence in the new administration.

The review conducted by lawyer David Warrington recommended that Trump aides sharply constrain adviser Boris Epshteyn’s access to the president-elect, according to a person familiar with the matter. The person spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss an internal matter.

The personnel drama spotlights the unusual and often-disorganized cast of characters around Trump who contributed to the chaos of his first term, some of whom are part of the transition to the second as he looks to build out his administration before he takes office on Jan. 20.

Among those Epshteyn is alleged to have sought payments from is Scott Bessent, Trump’s nominee to be treasury secretary. Bessent mounted a months-long campaign to win the job but was opposed by Epshteyn allegedly after the hedge fund executive didn’t agree to pay him a substantial retainer.

President Claudia Sheinbaum suggested Tuesday that Mexico could retaliate with tariffs of its own, after U.S. President-elect Donald Trump threatened to impose 25% tariffs on Mexican goods if the country doesn’t stop the flow of drugs and migrants across the border.

Sheinbaum said she was willing to engage in talks on the issues, but said drugs were a U.S. problem.

“One tariff would be followed by another in response, and so on until we put at risk common businesses,” Sheinbaum said, referring to U.S. automakers that have plants on both sides of the border.

She said Tuesday that Mexico had done a lot to stem the flow of migrants, noting “caravans of migrants no longer reach the border.” She also said Mexico had worked to stem the flow of drugs, like the deadly synthetic opioid fentanyl, even though “it is a problem of public health and consumption in your country’s society.”
