👀“Last night and this morning, several of President Trump's Cabinet nominees and Administration appointees were targeted in violent, unAmerican threats to their lives and those who live with them. These attacks ranged from bomb threats to 'swatting.' In response, law enforcement and other authorities acted quickly to ensure the safety of those who were targeted. President Trump and the entire Transition team are grateful for their swift action.

President Trump and the Transition are focused on doing the work of uniting our nation by ensuring a safe and prosperous future. With President Trump as our example, dangerous acts of intimidation and violence will not deter us.”

The Bank of Russia announced on Wednesday it will suspend purchases of foreign currency on the domestic exchange from November 28 until the end of the year, to reduce market volatility.

The announcement came as the Russian currency slid to near-record lows, reaching 114 rubles against the US dollar on Wednesday.

The regulator also said it will continue to sell foreign currency to replenish the National Wealth Fund. The volume of such operations currently amounts to 8.4 billion rubles ($74 million) per day, according to the central bank’s statement.

A decision on when to resume foreign currency purchases will be based on “the situation on the financial markets,” the central bank stated. The deferred dollar purchases will be made during 2025, the regulator added.

Three American citizens who had been detained in China were released, a State Department spokesperson said Wednesday.

They are Mark Swidan, Kai Li and John Leung.

Li, 70, who is from Long Island, New York, was detained in 2016 and sentenced to 10 years in 2018 on espionage charges his family says are baseless. Swidan, a Texas businessman in his 40s, had been detained since 2012 and was sentenced to death with a reprieve in 2019 after being convicted on drug-related charges that a United Nations working group said had no evidential basis.

John Leung, an American in his 70s who also has permanent residency in the Chinese territory of Hong Kong, was sentenced to life in prison last year after being found guilty of espionage by a court in eastern China. Leung, who was detained in 2021, had been a member of a pro-Beijing group in the United States and had been pictured with senior Chinese officials, according to Hong Kong and Chinese news outlets.

NEW: The head of the U.S. Census Bureau is set to face questions from Congress on Dec. 5 regarding its overcounting of residents of blue states and undercounting of those in red states. Such errors could aid Democrats politically by giving blue states a larger share of Electoral College votes as well as more seats in the U.S. House of Representatives.

The Daily Signal first reported in September that the House Oversight and Accountability Committee opened an investigation into the potential politicization of the population count and miscounts in 14 states.

The December Oversight hearing will review the Census Bureau’s 2020 Post-Enumeration Survey, or PES. The hearing will also look at the bureau’s preparations for the 2030 Census.

“The Census Bureau’s review of the 2020 Census revealed substantial miscounts and discrepancies tending to benefit Democrat-run states,” House Oversight Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., said in a statement to The Daily Signal. “Congress has a responsibility to conduct oversight of these massive errors to ensure they are not repeated in the 2030 census.”

U.S. Census Bureau Director Robert Santos, an appointee of President Joe Biden, is set to testify at the hearing.

BREAKING: Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov says that Donald Trump has been trying to negotiate peace plans, while the Biden-Harris administration was seeking to escalate the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

Peskov made his remarks on behalf of Putin when asked to comment on an interview that Mike Waltz, Trump's pick for national security advisor, gave to Fox News on Sunday.

"What we need to be discussing is who's at that table, whether it's an agreement, an armistice, how to get both sides to the table, and then what's the framework of a deal," Waltz said.

"Indeed, from the circle of Trump supporters and those who have been nominated for future positions in the future administration, the word 'peace' or 'peace plan' is being heard," Peskov told reporters. "No such words are being heard from the current (Biden) administration while provocative escalatory actions continue. That is the reality that we face."

😑 Guitar manufacturer Gibson has slapped the company making Donald Trump's guitars with a cease-and-desist letter claiming they are a copy of its iconic shape.

The manufacturer confirmed it is threatening legal action against 16 Creative, the company behind Trump's guitars, claiming it has infringed on its copyright.

Gibson said in a statement to Guitar World that their claim particularly involves 'the iconic Les Paul body shape.'

It comes a week after Trump raised eyebrows in the aftermath of his presidential election victory by hawking a new line of guitars - with autographed versions sold for a staggering $11,500.

The president-elect shared a picture of himself holding one of the eagle-emblazoned versions of the guitars, which many said appeared to have the same size, shape and design as a Les Paul.

So far Pete Hegseth, John Ratcliffe, Elise Stefanik and Matt Gaetz have been targeted.

A bomb squad has reportedly been sent to Matt Gaetz’s house after the former Florida congressman received a pipe bomb threat.

It is currently unclear whether the threat to Mr Gaetz, a close ally of Mr Trump who withdrew his name from consideration as attorney general last week, was genuine or a hoax, Punchbowl reported.

Punchbowl reported that Mr Gaetz was not at home when the authorities responded to the bomb threat, although a member of his family was.

A sniffer dog was brought in to check the former congressman’s mailbox but failed to establish whether there was a credible bomb threat. The bomb squad was called in shortly after.

Trump’s new NIH Director Jay Bhattacharya torches Dr Fauci, 2022:

“I would ask him to step down. He’s done enough damage. The role he’s played in this epidemic has been, I think in large part, negative. He has silenced scientific discussion around his policies. He has pushed forward policies like lockdowns that are blind to the harms they have caused, as if they were the only responsible thing to do when they were not. There were alternatives available…

He should never have been in charge of COVID policy.”

Another great health pick by President Trump 👏🏼

A Chinese commercial vessel that has been surrounded by European warships in international waters for a week is central to an investigation of suspected sabotage that threatens to test the limits of maritime law—and heighten tensions between Beijing and European capitals.

Investigators suspect that the Yi Peng 3 bulk carrier—225 meters long, 32 meters wide and loaded with Russian fertilizer—deliberately severed two critical data cables last week as its anchor was dragged along the Baltic seabed for over 100 miles.

🔥BlackRock Inc., Vanguard Group Inc. and State Street Corp. were sued by a group of states led by Texas for allegedly breaking antitrust law by boosting electricity prices through their investments, in the highest-profile lawsuit yet against the beleaguered ESG industry.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and 10 other states claim the money managers combined their market clout and membership in climate groups to pressure coal producers to cut output. Shortages have caused Texans and residents of the other states to pay higher power bills, according to the lawsuit, filed Wednesday in federal court in Texas.

The Republican-led states, including West Virginia and Montana, are asking the court to bar the three largest US money managers from using their stock in coal companies to vote on shareholder resolutions and take other steps in a way that restrains output and limits market competition.

Spokespeople for BlackRock and Vanguard didn’t have an immediate comment on the lawsuit. State Street didn’t immediately respond to emails seeking comment.

The complaint marks the culmination of a years-long investigation by GOP officials who have taken aim at Wall Street’s efforts to address climate change, the main pillar of the environmental, social and governance strategy. Pressure has mounted on investment firms since last year when state attorneys general warned them that Americans’ savings shouldn’t be used to “push political goals” during the shareholder voting season.

In response, climate advocates say environmental risks are financial risks and that addressing them is among investors’ fiduciary responsibilities.

WATCH: Top Democratic megadonor John Morgan says Kamala Harris should be disqualified from running for president 'forever' and fumed at the way her campaign churned through more than $1 billion while losing to Donald Trump.

Morgan, a wealthy trial lawyer, fumed about the spending spree in an appearance on Chris Cuomo's show 'CUOMO' on NewsNation.

Morgan, a wealthy trial lawyer, fumed about the spending spree in an appearance on Chris Cuomo's show 'CUOMO' on NewsNation.

He suggested ill motives for some of the costs. 'She had all these consultants. And if you don't run the ads, you don't get paid for the buy,' he fumed.

He bemoaned some of the profligate spending decisions, like lighting up the Las Vegas 'Sphere' to the tune of $900,000, plus ad-buys in his home state of Florida and wall-to-wall ads in the unsuccessful bid to prevent Donald Trump's return to the White House.

'There's a lot of whispers. There's a lot of names about who got paid this, who got paid that, and a lot of people got rich on the back of donors trying to stop Trump. And I think this disqualifies her forever. Forever. If you can't run a campaign, you can't run America, and that would be the argument just Day One,' he said.
