Access our exchange via the QR code!

Using the web version of the exchange and constantly entering your login and password can be annoying. With a QR code scanning feature in the WhiteBIT mobile application, it will take seconds. Here's how we simplified it:

1. Go to the authorization form on the exchange website;
2. Press the “Load” button. Please note that the QR code is active for 60 seconds;
3. Scan the QR code with the WhiteBIT mobile application and confirm logging in with the “Confirm” button. If your device's location doesn't match where the request came from, the app will notify you. Carefully check the info;
4. The system will identify and authorize you on the web version of the exchange;
5. An email confirmation of the authorization will be waiting for you. That's it!

What does MiCA mean?

The European Union recently established a new regulatory structure for the crypto-assets market — Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA).

MiCA provides a comprehensive crypto asset operations framework, including strict disclosure, transparency, authorization, and oversight standards. MiCA clarifies the European cryptocurrency market through a unified approach to the regulation of digital assets, simplifying the interaction of companies with regulators and reducing administrative costs.

However, the regulations leave untouched sectors like NFTs and DeFi, prompting criticism.

While MiCA could consolidate market players, reducing competition and sector dynamism, many views it positively as it provides more precise guidelines than the currently ambiguous regulations.

Some MiCA provisions are enacted in July 2023, but rules for stablecoins and service providers will be enforced in 2024 and 2025, respectively.

MiCA’s influence might extend beyond the EU, setting global standards for crypto regulation.
