How to automatize trading on the margin market?

Use the Application Programming Interface (API) tool. API is a tool that allows programs to interact with each other by exchanging data and performing certain operations.

On WhiteBIT, you can use the API to control the margin trading functionality. This tool will help you to:

● Automate the execution of your trading strategies;
● Place trades on the exchange;

This is how you generate API keys:
1. Log in to your WhiteBIT account, click on your profile icon in the upper-right corner, and go to the API.
2. Click on the “Generate a new key” button.
3. Enter the 2FA code and click Confirm.
4. Select the available Endpoints for this API key.
5. Click "Confirm".
6. You can use the keys now.

Use the “Edit” menu to customize permissions for your API key.

Well, futures are officially the star of the last days, as there is so much big news surrounding them! First, new contracts, and now...

You asked for it, and we delivered. We are introducing new leverage options for futures trading — you can now choose 50x or 100x!

You can adjust the leverage size as before, in your account settings and directly in the trading terminal. It's important to note that when selecting 50x and 100x leverage, these values apply only to the futures market. In this case, all margin positions will have a maximum value of 20x.

So much going on!

We fulfill your requests as if by a magic wand! And all because we expanded the functionality of margin and futures trading with two new orders — Stop-Loss (SL) and Take-Profit (TP).

Take-Profit involves setting a price level at which the trader plans to close the position to take a profit.

And Stop-Loss is an order to automatically sell cryptocurrency if its price falls to a certain level to limit further losses.

Both tools are excellent for risk management, maintaining trading discipline, and evaluating trading strategy. Note that SL and TP are available on the web platform and in the WhiteBIT U mobile app.

⚙️ We’re back with new functionality!

We are pleased to announce that the technical works on our exchange have been completed. As a result, we implemented several cool updates that will take your exchange experience to a new level, namely:

• New leverage values for futures trading. Now you can trade futures with 50x and 100x leverage.
• Added position bracket. It is a range applied to the nominal value of a position within which certain leverage is used.
• Added Stop-Loss (SL) and Take-Profit (TP) for margin and futures trading.
• Added one more WhiteBIT Token (WBT) Holding level for 10 WBT. Conditions for other levels remain the same. In general, there will be 11 WBT Holding levels.
