Avoiding Risks Wisely 🤓

Various strategies can help you avoid losses when trading crypto. Let's consider some of them:

Strategy 1: The 1% Rule
Crypto prices are very volatile, so you can follow the 1% rule — risk no more than 1% of your total capital when investing or trading. For example, if you have $10 000, you can invest $10 000 in Bitcoin (BTC) and set a Sell Stop-Loss order at $9900. Or you can invest $100 in Ethereum (ETH). In both cases, you will risk only 1% of your deposit ($100).

Strategy 2: Setting Stop-Loss and Take-Profit Orders
A Stop-Loss order allows you to close a position when a certain price is reached, a Take-Profit order allows you to close a position when the desired profit is reached. Set up these orders in advance to automatically hedge against market volatility.

Strategy 3: Diversification and Hedging
Diversify your portfolio to reduce overall investment risk. Allocate investments among different assets. You can also use hedging — opening an opposite position to protect profits or reduce losses. Futures contracts or margin trading can be useful in this case.

Strategy 4: The Exit Strategy
Decide when you will close the deals to protect your profits or limit your losses. Stick to the predetermined moment of closing the position. This will help to avoid emotional decisions due to FOMO or the crypto community sentiment.

Strategy 5: DYOR (Do Your Own Research)
Don't forget the importance of doing your own research (DYOR). Before making investment decisions, learn as much as possible about the project, development team, fundamental and technical aspects, news, and market dynamics.
