If the shrews are disturbed, they will leave their nest in an unusual way.
The family is built in a line, the first kid grabs his mother by the tail and so on. This is due to the poor eyesight of the animals.
Murmansk Region never gets a very hot summer, but it’s not a reason not to surf and enjoy other activities on the Barents Sea!

It blooms only once every 7 years and blooms for only 7 days.
The European roe deer Capreólus capreólus belongs to the deer family. The body length of the roe deer is 100-130 cm, the height at the withers is 70-85 cm. These are elegant animals with a blunt muzzle and a very short tail. The color is monotonous: golden-red in summer, gray in winter.
The horns of males are small, vertically placed, almost straight with 2-3 appendages and a very uneven surface. The bases of the horns are covered with characteristic outgrowths - "pearls". Small roe deer are spotted. Interestingly, the eyes of roe deer glow reddish-yellow at night.
Where they are not pursued, roe deer can live next to a person. They also inhabit places where there are usually no other ungulates - steppe shrubs, gullies, forest belts, small copses among fields. But in most areas of Russia, their numbers are quite low due to poaching.
The males' voice during the rut is a kind of hoarse barking. The same sharp bass bark serves as an alarm signal.
Turtles love sunbathing, which helps them regulate their internal body temperature.

Mexican lentils are characterized by sexual dimorphism in plumage coloration: the head, chest and back of males are colored red, with a mottled belly and brown wings and tail, while females are simpler - mottled from below and brown from above. Young males resemble females in color.
Mexican lentils are monogamous. Pairs form in winter, before the start of the breeding season. During courtship, the male demonstrates the "flight of a butterfly", soaring up 20-30 meters, and then starting a slow sliding descent, accompanied by loud singing. It is noted that females prefer males with a brighter head color.
The chicks fly off the nest after 12-19 days, after which the female builds a new nest and makes a new clutch, and the father continues to feed the chicks for some time
The crake Crex crex is a medium–sized bird of the shepherd family, the crake received such an unusual Latin name because of its specific cry. Birds scream in May and the first half of summer, the rest of the time they behave silently, especially in wintering grounds.
These birds reluctantly rise into the air (as a rule, only in case of extreme danger), fly a few meters and again descend to the ground. However, the clumsiness and slowness in the air of the crake are successfully compensated by fast running and agility on the ground. The bird not only runs perfectly and confuses tracks, but also skillfully hides, not allowing hunters to find their resting place.
The Irish Wolfhound is one of the largest dogs in the world. These dogs were used as greyhounds for the baiting of big game - wolves and deer. The character is calm, kind.
The first written evidence of these dogs is found in the Roman consul in 391. A pair of Irish greyhounds was a valuable gift for the royal courts of Europe, Scandinavia and others in the Middle Ages until the XVII century. Thus, these dogs got to England, Spain, France, Sweden, Denmark, Persia, India and Poland.
The change of the name of the dog to the wolfhound occurred, obviously, in the XV century, at that time each county was obliged to keep 24 wolfhounds to protect farm herds from wolf attacks.
Today, the Irish Wolfhound has regained the reputation it had in the Middle Ages, and is of great interest as a living testimony to Irish culture and as a legacy of the Celtic past.
The big booze Botaurus stellaris is a bird from the heron family. Her cry consists of a soft singing and a very loud, as if mumbling sound, which is issued by the bird's esophagus - it inflates and reacts as a powerful resonator. The drink got its original name in Russian precisely because of its voice. The name comes from the related words "howl" or "howl".
Like many herons, the deer stands motionless for a long time, waiting for prey and grabbing it with a sharp lightning movement. During the day, she can stand motionless in the thickets, usually on one leg, with her head pulled in and her shoulders hunched. It is very difficult to notice it at this moment: it looks more like a bunch of dry cane stalks.
Seeing the enemy, the beast freezes with its neck stretched vertically and its head raised. In this case, it is even more difficult to notice it. In direct danger, the bird opens its beak wide and regurgitates the swallowed food.
The vulture Neophron percnopterus has become a symbol of a scavenger who lives by eating rotting corpses. Associations are not the most pleasant, but you can look at it from the other side: unlike predators, vultures cause much less damage to other species, while bringing much more benefit.
In Egypt, the vulture has been known since ancient times as the "chicken of the pharaohs". They have been revered in this country since ancient times, and were not even expelled from the pyramids, where they often nested. And today, killing a vulture there is punishable by law.
The vulture is a fairly large bird, the adult reaches 60-70 cm in length, its wingspan exceeds one and a half meters, and its weight reaches 1.6–2.3 kg. The plumage is white, and there are very noticeable black feathers on the edges of the wings. Near the throat, the feathers are yellow.
The cat's reaction time is approximately 20 to 70 ms, which is on average faster than the snake's reaction time, which is 44-70 ms.

Hammerheads live in Africa, from Sierra Leone and Sudan to the south of the continent, as well as in Madagascar and the Arabian Peninsula. From time to time they are found near settlements and sometimes even allow themselves to be petted or fed.
Hammerheads search for food at night, while hunting small fish, insects or amphibians, which they scare away with their feet. Hammerheads have certain trees on which they usually rest.
When looking for a partner, they perform peculiar dances, during which they make whistling sounds and jump into the air. Their nests are very large (1.5 m in diameter) and have an internal space with a hard-to-reach entrance. The nest is always built by a pair of hammerheads, and it takes several months to create it. Outside, the nest is hung with various ornaments (bones, scraps).
