🐱 The serval is a slender, long-legged wild cat known for its striking appearance. These medium-sized cats can reach 35-53 inches in length and stand 16-26 inches tall at the shoulder. Adults weigh between 18-40 pounds. Servals have the longest legs and largest ears of any cat species. They have a small head and relatively short tail, measuring 12-18 inches. Their coat is marked with dark spots and stripes on a yellow-gray background, while the chest, belly and face are white. The ears are black with yellow or white crossbars. Sadly, servals are often hunted for their valuable fur, which is used to make fur garments.
