The Powelliphanta augusta is a large, air-breathing land snail found only in New Zealand. 🌏
It has a shell up to 9cm in diameter and weighs 90g. The impressive shells come in various colors and patterns. 🌈
They need a humid environment and some species only live on limestone soils to get calcium for their shells and eggs. 💡
