🐨 The numbat, a unique Australian marsupial, feeds almost exclusively on termites and ants.

🔍 Numbats use their keen sense of smell to find food, then use their claws and sticky tongues to catch termites.
🦎 The mossy flat-tailed gecko Uroplatus sikorae is a unique species found only on the island of Madagascar.

It's a small species, 70cm long, weighing around 4kg 🤯
Named after Friedrich Wilhelm von Humboldt, a renowned German scientist 🌟
✅ 🌊 The Blue-footed Booby has a unique appearance, with its feet being a distinctive feature, ranging from light turquoise to deep aquamarine.
🐦 The color of the feet can indicate the bird's health, with brighter colors signifying better health. Interestingly, they catch fish while surfacing, not diving, as the fish's dark back and light belly create a visible contrast. 🌴
🦎 The Fan-Throated Lizard Sarada darwini was recently discovered in India.
They resemble Australian frill-necked lizards.
Males scan their territory from a high rock or bush, puffing out their brightly colored throat fan to attract females or deter rivals 🌟.
These small lizards (8-12 cm) can run fast when threatened, with their tail up 🏃♂️. Despite their size, they're fearless and sleep in open areas 😴.
🐸 The Southern African Breviceps adspersus leads a underground life,
