More regarding these repeating cases:

Jamal Waraki, a volunteer medic with the nonprofit ZAKA emergency response team, said he could not get out of his head a young woman in a rawhide vest found between the main stage and the bar.
“Her hands were tied behind her back,” he said. “She was bent over, half naked, her underwear rolled down below her knees.”

Those who use the alleged comment on social media by Gal's sister, as a "proof" that no rape happened, are comfortably denying the actual interview made with her parents, where they acknowledge the rape.

Eti Bracha, Gal's mother, told Ynet about her difficult emotions: "I heard about the rape my daughter experienced before she was murdered. It was a chilling and painful moment; I even felt ashamed, even though she did nothing wrong. Monsters murdered her." She added, "They defiled her soul and spirit before murdering her and her husband, leaving behind two orphans aged 7 and 11."
Bracha said Gal was raped and murdered in front of her husband, who was also murdered after her. "It’s important to me and the people of Israel that the world knows about the sexual crimes these monsters committed, so that they don't avert their eyes and say they don't believe it really happened," she said. "There are testimonies describing the sexual assault against my daughter."
According to her, she only learned about the sexual assaults during the work on the New York Times investigation: "We weren’t aware of the rape initially; we were informed only when The New York Times' journalist approached us. They said they cross-referenced the testimonies and said that Gal had undergone a sexual assault. Even now. we don't know exactly what happened," added Bracha.

A question to all those self-described "Pro-Palestinians", who waste so much of their time and energy on denying sexual abuse by Hamas:

Do you really feel like a good person in the end of the day?

Digging into all that information, and taking it out of context to prove a point... Even going as far as cynically using comments made by some of their grieving family members...

In order to claim what? At best that there's "not enough evidence"?
Because for sure you can't deny that there's SOME evidence, right?

Or would you argue that the multiple cases of murdered women with their underwear pulled down or missing, or those who were shot or mutilated in their genitals, isn't evidence at all for sexual abuse?
Maybe it's just a coincidence? Maybe it's just a regular abuse with no sexual intention behind it?
It's just a generic brutal murder, and the genitals were targeted by mistake, right?
I mean, technically you can make all these arguments, but it will tell more about you as a person than convince anyone in your perspective.

“When they tried to argue a free-speech case no one took them seriously because they’ve treated it with such a double standard,” says Greg Lukianoff of the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (fire), an advocacy group. Of nearly 250 colleges evaluated by fire, Harvard and Pennsylvania rank as the two least hospitable to free speech and open inquiry, based on surveys and instances of lectures cancelled and professors disciplined.

In the months after his father’s shooting, Yuri was consumed by a thirst for revenge. He tracked down the killer on a Ukrainian secret-service database, recognising his nose and eyes, and left a message on his social-media account: “You killed my dad but didn’t get me.” The soldier replied with the verbal equivalent of a shrug. In the age of the internet, grieving children are often only a click away from talking to a parent’s killers, or seeing a photo of their corpse.

The ICRC representatives, however, reportedly instead rebuked them and talked about the suffering of Palestinians.

This is a repeating tactic by Hamas-apologists: cherry picking details from the articles, in order to create disinformation, which I addressed in the past.
For instance, the propagandist in this screenshot tried to imply that the released elderly hostage, Mrs. Lifshitz, was treated well by her captors, by cherry picking a quote of hers from the CNN article:
"When we arrived in Gaza, they first told us that they believed in the Quran and would not harm us, they fed us well, were kind, a doctor and paramedic visited us regularly, everything was provided for us."

He even went as far as to imply that the original headline (as seen in the screenshot) was misleading.

It was quite telling, however, that he didn't attach the link to the original article, where you can also find passages like this:

Yocheved Lifshitz, a frail 85-year-old grandmother who was one of two hostages released by Hamas on Monday, recounted the moment that militants snatched her from her home in the kibbutz of Nir Oz and drove her away on a motorbike towards Gaza, a “painful act” during which she said she was beaten and sustained bruises.

He also failed to mention that her husband is still being held by Hamas, which might have prevented her from saying negative things about this organization.

Now we know that later on she went on and joined the protesters, calling for the release of her husband.

We also know now, that the separation of families is an intentional Hamas tactic most probably aimed at preventing them from talking about their mistreatment in captivity.

They went as far as to lie that in order to make this separation happen, against the hostage deal agreement.

Also, many use this screenshot from the article, as a "proof" that there is "no evidence" of rape and sexual assault.

However, as usual with Hamas-apologists, they just take the quote out of context.
In fact, here's the context of this screenshot [WARNING: graphic violence description is hidden]

Much of the evidence has come from the volunteer body-collectors deployed after the attacks, and those who handled the bodies once they arrived at the Shura army base for identification.
One of the body-collectors volunteering with the religious organisation Zaka described to me signs of torture and mutilation which included, he said, a pregnant woman whose womb had been ripped open before she was killed, and her foetus stabbed while it was inside her.
The BBC has not been able to independently verify this account, and Israeli media reports have questioned some testimony from volunteers working in the traumatic aftermath of the Hamas attacks.

In short, the lack of verification only addresses one paragraph, not the entire article.

It never ceases to amaze me, how many "good souls" as this one exist across the internet... #hostages

As sad as we are about the silence (=violence) of the UN Women and other women organizations, there can never be anything more sad than an individual woman who writes these kind of words.

We should not wait or count on any formal organization to be our voice or make sure we are protected.

This mission belongs to each and every woman in the world.

Never hesitate to raise your voice.
Don’t feel ashamed, and do it with love by harnessing people.

The only way for us to fight darkness is to become the light.

We are sending you love and strength to keep the fight, to keep talking to people’s hearts, to keep believing we can unite.

I usually like Uri Fink's cartoons, but this one illustrates the level of detachment and egocentricity of many of my compatriots.
Many Israelis seem to be surprised that "the world" is now talking about the dead in Gaza instead of the 07.10 dead in Israel, even though we are already two months after it, and the number of dead in Gaza is factually much greater.

This does not mean that everyone who is now protesting in the world against Israel is right, but simply that this kind of rhetoric makes us seem self-centered and obtuse.

'Some of them are close in age to my daughters and I hugged them so hard,' she said. But the social worker shared harrowing details of other female captives.

'There were girls who spent 50 days and more alone,' she said. 'When they were sad, crying, their captors would stroke them and touch them. They described accounts of sexual abuse under gunpoint on a regular basis.

'Some of the girls were badly wounded and haven't been getting proper medical care. Gunshot wounds, even lost limbs. They said they can cope with the disability but not with the manner they were constantly violated.'

A combination of chaos, enormous grief and Jewish religious duties meant that many bodies were buried as quickly as possible. Most were never examined, and in some cases, like at the rave scene, where more than 360 people were slaughtered in a few hours, the bodies were hauled away by the truckload.
That has left the Israeli authorities at a loss to fully explain to families what happened to their loved ones in their final moments. Ms. Abdush’s relatives, for instance, never received a death certificate. They are still searching for answers.
In cases of widespread sexual violence during a war, it is not unusual to have limited forensic evidence, experts said.
“Armed conflict is so chaotic,” said Adil Haque, a Rutgers law professor and war crimes expert. “People are more focused on their safety than on building a criminal case down the road.”
Very often, he said, sex crime cases will be prosecuted years later on the basis of testimony from victims and witnesses.
“The eyewitness might not even know the name of the victim,” he added. “But if they can testify as, ‘I saw a woman being raped by this armed group,’ that can be enough.”

As for the NYT article, here's what they write:

Four witnesses described in graphic detail seeing women raped and killed at two different places along Route 232, the same highway where Ms. Abdush’s half-naked body was found sprawled on the road at a third location.

And The Times interviewed several soldiers and volunteer medics who together described finding more than 30 bodies of women and girls in and around the rave site and in two kibbutzim in a similar state as Ms. Abdush’s — legs spread, clothes torn off, signs of abuse in their genital areas.

The most recent "proof" that Hamas apologists found to deny Hamas' sexual violence on Oct 7, is a comment(since then deleted) allegedly made by Gal Abdush's sister on a post by Yousef Haddad, where she denies that her sister was raped, claiming that she didn't see such evidence, and also criticizing the NYT article.

The green movement in Europe is a paradox. On one hand, the policies espoused by environmentalists sit squarely at the centre of today’s political agenda. The European economy is being overhauled to mitigate climate change, nuclear plants in Germany have been shut and new cars running on petrol or diesel will be illegal by 2035. By contrast with America, denying humans are responsible for climate change is considered kooky. But the green parties dedicated to promoting these ideals are in a rut.

I'll never forget that story my mom told me: during the Soviet times, our relative wanted to borrow a book in his school's library. So when he filled the form for it, he wrote "Belarusian" in the "nationality" section.
The goy librarian gave him one long stare and said: "you're no Belarusian, you're a Jew".
He was just a kid, and felt really embarrassed before his friends.
He quickly said "oh, really? ok, I'll correct it".

Even when Jews tried to blend in, they were always reminded what they are.

Another tactic Hamas-apologists use, is taking one detail that fits their narrative, and then extend it indefinitely.

For instance: after it was wrongly reported that all the 40 murdered babies were beheaded, they argued that it proves that no babies were beheaded at all. Later they began to claim that no babies were murdered by Hamas, and even later on they claimed that no one(even adults) were beheaded.

Interestingly enough, Hamas apologists who cherry picked that one quotation from the BBC article, to make it seem as unverified, conveniently ignored these parts:

Videos filmed by Hamas include footage of one woman, handcuffed and taken hostage with cuts to her arms and a large patch of blood staining the seat of her trousers.

In others, women carried away by the fighters appear to be naked or semi-clothed.

Multiple photographs from the sites after the attack show the bodies of women naked from the waist down, or with their underwear ripped to one side, legs splayed, with signs of trauma to their genitals and legs.

It's sad that Twitter has died.
The fact that its logo and name have changed, makes its loss way more realistic.

It was always a sort of toxic guilty pleasure, but not as much as now.

Being on that hell-site makes me mentally sick, and even physically sick.

The way in which its algorithm brings the most horrific, blood boiling takes that you can find.

Even today, after opening it for just a moment, I had to stop myself from writing a nasty comment.
It isn't worth my time, it isn't worth my nerves and my health... And I shouldn't add traffic and clout for these people.

I had enough of a toxic ex, I don't need a toxic X as well. 🥲

So I'm gonna post here more, as well as on Bluesky.

I hope I'll succeed. 🥲
